thick milkshakes. had Arby's shake over the weekend, damn near needed a spoon to replace the straw. I just waited a while for it to melt a bit because if I had wanted to eat it with a spoon, instead of drink it, I would have went somewhere for ice-cream instead

I always felt similar.

5 months a year should have 31 days, the other 7 have 30. Leap years is when we get 6 months of 31 days.

Bioshock Infinite is my favorite in the trilogy, by far.

It wasn't until after I played Infinite, and was blown away by it, that I realized so many people didn't like it when I checked around the web.

I get it though. I understand why it got slammed by a large segment of the playerbase, but I just really dug it.

I don't like the Bioshock games at all.

I do appreciate the care and attention to story-telling, and trying to push the boundaries of video game narrative as an art on-par with the likes of cinema, etc. But at the end of the day, I found the games very tedious to actually play. I just didn't have any fun playing the games. The shooting is not great, the weapon variety isn't great, the powers are interesting enough I guess but you have to be so conservative in how you use them that I found myself for the most part doing everything I could to not use them.

What separates games from other media (IMO) is that they are supposed to be fun to play. If the core gameplay loop and mechanic isn't fun, no amount of interesting meta-narrative or social commentary can make up for that.

I've played through 1 twice. The rest just 1 time so far but yeah I'd like to go through them again.
