    Re: Official OS BBQ/Grilling Thread

I went to Cincinnati over the weekend to catch a Reds game.
While we were there, we stopped at Terry's Turf Club and I got this INSANE burger!

A 1/2 lb burger with Bacon, Cheese, Avocado, Fried Egg, Portabello Mushroom, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato & pickle.
With a side of Fried Corn on The Cob and a Chocolate Stout!

And YES! I ate ALL of it!.... And it was gooooood!

Had a slow day in the salt Saturday, only was able to manage a 24" red and 1 speck. 24 mph gusts with a steady 18 mph wind really made conditions unfavorable.

Normally I come home with limit so I freeze everything but in this case it was not enough to freeze so I threw them on the pit. Red fish on the half shell and threw the specks in some foil.

Seasoned, little olive oil, fresh garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper.

Sirloin. Not my favorite steak, but not bad at all for under $4 a pound.

I also did sirloin on Monday. Theses babies are 3.3lbs of God Almighty goodness. I was cutting them with my fork when I was eating dinner.

The rectangular cut one I put a chipotle chile seasoning on (chipotle chile powder, salt, pepper cumin). On the other one I used a McCormik caribbean jerk seasoning recipe pack. Those boys were banging.

As for the yellow squash I didn't know what to do with as I hadn't grilled that before so I just dipped them in olive oil and let them go.

Here are the last steaks I grilled.. about two weeks ago along with some cheddarwurst.

Was a little disappointed that they shrunk up a bit more than I had anticipated. They were still good.

Also, how do you like the grill ? My buddy and I had to rig it up and make it useable again. We were drunk and bored. Ended up getting the steaks to test it out.

My girlfriend surprised me with a pack of the mesh grilling sheets. It says they're disposable, but her mom just washes them and reuses them. It should make doing pizzas a lot easier. Should be good for smaller veggies too and I might actually try fish now.

Im having a "Mexican BBQ" party tonight.
Im making Chicken, Steak & Shrimp Quesadillas all on the grill.

I make the ingredients, they choose them, I put them in a tortilla and finish them off on the grill.

I will be sure to post pics.

                                Looks amazing!

We were out of town for almost 3 weeks in Europe, and have been so busy just catching back up the past few weeks at this point. I've grilled burgers a few times, but that's about it.

Need to do something nice for Labor Day maybe, I'll have to think about it.
