I've gotten used to a smartphone (albeit a watered down version), but I still can't get used to typing on the screen, it drives me crazy not being able to click buttons.

If not for autocorrect, I think most of my typed words would be messed up.

Although autocorrect isnt perfect either. sometimes it won't correct words that are clearly mistyped. And it randomly adds errors as new words in the dictionary.

And don't forget the times when it "corrects" something that you'd type correctly in the first place.

This bugs me more than anything. Especially if you type something the way you want it 2-3 times in a row and the darn thing keeps "correcting" it. I mean, if you type something the exact same way and delete the auto-corrected proffer more than once, shouldn't it be 'smart' enough to just know you are typing what you intend?

Never posted before... ive looked all over I can't find forum rules posted anywhere... is there a help section?

I have no idea how to get in touch with an admin if there's an issue. any vets wanna point me in the right direction?

Yea, it's a spam filter. A few more posts and you should be able to (not sure exactly what that number is).

If you haven't already, update your Google Chrome browser on your computer. Seems theres a big security flaw that needs immediate fixing.

Good thing I did too. I looked at my prior version and turned out I hadn't updated in months. I always thought it was automatic updates.

I notice that I'm feeling very "blah" pretty much all the time now. Not depressed or down, but just.....lazy and unmotivated. I can't tell how much of that is the lockdown stuff and how much of it is just me.

It's funny because 80% of the time, I just go to work and go home, so in theory this whole thing shouldn't be making much of a difference in my life. But I guess what I failed to realize is that 20% of the time I'm doing other things actually makes a huge difference in your life, even if it's a small percentage of your time. Like everyone else, there are a lot of huge social events on my calendar that have gone out the window, and that's not even counting the small ones like getting together with friends for dinner or a beer or whatever.

On the plus side, I've made serious headway in watching the stuff built up on my DVR over the years, so I've got that going for me. Which is nice.
