Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
So I read that there is no practice mode in FIFA 16 - does this also apply to Manager Mode? Is there no practice or scrimmage option inside this mode (not training or drills, but practice where you can play with your entire squad or practice set pieces and free kicks etc)?Last edited by rafaelpaolo84; 09-24-2015, 01:06 PM.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Final verdict on training stunting growth?
It's a fallacy.
I did a test with 10 players. I recruited 10 players and on Jan 1 I saved the game. I then simmed to end of season with 1 group, and, with the base save I started a new save where each player received at least 5 training sessions training various technical and physical stats.
The results? Identical. The same players who grew physically for one did the other. And vice versa.
Now, you may ask how did overall growth fair? well, thanks for asking. The growth was mostly identical, with the players who got training growing a little more. 19 overall points growth for the non trained players, and 21 for trained.
So conclusion? Train your players in the YA and youth. It makes zero difference... you will just speed up their growth and get them to a higher overall faster... if you want.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Hi guys, this is my first post here. Just started my Juventus CM, like I do every year. With that amount of money (92 million euros, thanks to the 60% budget increase option), I decided to bring in Oscar as the world class CAM we needed, Tielemans as first sub in the CM position, and Corchia (to continue the French Legacy [emoji14] ) as backup RB. I love how much deep and versatile my team is, 'cause I can swap from 4-3-1-2 to 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1 and many other line ups. I absolutely dominated Lazio in the Italian Supercup, winning 5-0. The Serie A campaign started with 2 wins against Udinese and Chievo, and a 1-1 draw with Roma. The Champions League started, unfortunately, with a 0-2 loss against Wolfsburg in our Juventus Stadium.
The challenge this game brings is awesome, it remembers me of the career I did back in Fifa 13 with Juve <3
Dybala and Morata are BEASTS! And I suggest you keeping an eye on Zaza as a striker, he's doing quite well as a sub.

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Thinking about doing a quick career mode with Barca where I can put Halilovic on the spotlight and see how he progresses with new training system.
I really want to play with my local team Dinamo Zagreb (ye, the one that beat Arsenal :P ) and put it in German 2nd league or French but they are not in the game...despite playing in european competitions for 5-6 years in a row now. Might have to wait for moddingway mod.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
I played 5 games this far in my City MM today. 1 win. 4 draws. Only win was against Chelsea. All draws saw me take the lead and give it back almost immediately. The punch to the gut was a 2-2 draw against Watford.Comment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Anyone using spreadsheet for tracking stats?
@ topic: I've started a manager career using Arsenal first (as I always have in other FIFAs).
Match Difficult: World Class
Financial Strictness: Moderate (75%)
European Competition in 1st Season: Yes
Disable First Summer Transfer Window: On
ARSENAL FC
2015-16
First competition: Champions Cup (prize pool: EUR 10 million)
Arsenal
Torino
PSV Eindhoven
Schalke 04
Boca Jrs
Sporting
CSKA Moscow
San Lorenzo
*
Matchday 1
Arsenal 1-1 PSV
Truncated game in midfield. PSV's goal came with header from Isimat-Mirin after Lestienne move by a well-rehearsed move in the corner, but the Gunners responded quickly with a beautiful goal from Ozil after nice pass from Coquelin.
Other games
Boca Jrs 2-1 CSKA Moscow
Schalke 04 1-2 Torino
San Lorenzo 0-1 Sporting
Matchday 2
Schalke 04 0-1 Arsenal
Hard-fought game where both teams had many chances to score. During the middle of the first time there was a blackout in the English defense during a severe blitz imposed by the Germans. A ball crossed by Bellerin, Welbeck found Joel Campbell who dominated and scored. Near the end of the game, the Germans tried to press but the Gunners were attentive and could arm several counterattacks, but stopping the goalkeeper Nübel.
Other games
San Lorenzo 1-2 Boca Juniors
Sporting 3-1 CSKA Moscow
Torino 1-0 PSV
Matchday 3
Arsenal 1-1 Torino
Rainy day at the Estadio Monumental de Nunez, in a match that was worth the lead in the group. Glik opened the scoring for the Italian team after a move to corner, which has been the weak point by this time for the London club. Highlight the young English striker Iwobi, which gave a pass to the Wilshere's goal and had other two chances to score. Another highlight has been the young goalkeeper Macey, who started his second straight game. The Italians will face Boca Jrs and the Gunners, Sporting.
Other games
Sporting 1-2 Boca Juniors
CSKA Moscow 3-0 San Lorenzo
PSV 3-1 Schalke 04
Matchday 4 - Semifinals
Sporting 1-0 Arsenal
More possession and managed to impose his game, Portugal's Sporting managed to pluck a victory against the Gunners. On the 15th minute, Danny Welbeck came out injured (knee hyperextension - 4 weeks) to be subbed for Joel Campbell, who gave a certain dynamism in the attack. The Portuguese were in weight to the attack, although they stop on the beam or in the hands of young goalkeeper Macey. Slimani scored from a brilliant pass from Tanaka. In the other match of the semi, Torino advanced to the finals after beating Boca Juniors on penalties (1-1 in regular time, 4-3 on penalties). Torino won the tournament, beating Sporting in 2-1Comment

Im struggl;ing with who to be atm.
usually go with an Inter season, but their teams is too good this year.
Kinda looking for a major challenge, european club but it wont feel weird if i sign a few 'stars' (ie Bojan aint gonna go to Notts COunty is he).
Im a stoke fan myself, but never a fan of doing one with my own team fopr some reason lolComment

Re: *The FIFA 16 Manager Mode Thread*
Im with you on that one my team is Wolves but never picked them for some reason. Couple of seasons back O Hara and Roger Johnson were higher rated than other players but I refused to pick them coz I hated them. Need to be someone without emotional attachment lol. I've found myself following the results of teams ive been on career mode in past FIFA's it's easy to feel attached! Marseille for me this year haven't had a French league in a while
I did the French League to death with Lens on Fifa 14, that was real fun, big team right in the mire....might go back to that actually. Also, putting the rest of the worlkd teams in Serie B always turns out quite funComment

Has anyone seen those random rich investors taking over teams?I kind of liked that and it was quite fun if you ended up to be the coach for one of those teams.Comment
