Started my new Tottenham career after messing around with sliders and tactics a bit. First match at Man U was a very exciting game that Rooney luckily missed a few easy shots to keep me in it until the end. And then this happened to end it at the 91st minute.

Yeah, I dont agree either. I was able to get some good young players at pretty fair prices.

When playing with a lower tier team (league 2 team like Portsmouth) your yearly budget is not even enough to buy a Harry Kane. In my case am referring to the young mostly unknown players. Before bidding I'll see the estimated value and I don't expect the actual price to be more than ±10%. But in my case it's more than 100%. An example was when my scout came back with a striker with an estimated value of 300k but CPU was asking for 850k for a player I can't even see his actual rating. It's just challenging building a team with next to no budget. It would have been much fair if the CPU is willing to pay as much as it's asking for it players.

Don't get me wrong, this is the best FIFA game I've played till date. I guess that's why one can complain about the little things[emoji1]

Yea I went pretty crazy after that. I started with Drunkenfarrets sliders and then changed some based off what the OS community was coming up with and some personal preference. Still have some minor changes to do but I'm really liking these sliders through 4 games.

Professional, 10 min half.
Sliders hum/cpu (not listed =50)

Only complaint is I wish there were more fouls, but that could have to do with the ref also.

So I finished my first season with Union Berlin in the 2.Bundesliga. We ended up winning the title by 3 points over Leipzig. Who beat us twice. They beat us at home 1-0, and then away 4-2. They actually were in fist most of the season, but had two key players go down in the last 8 games and lost 4 of those games, drawing the other 4. Which allowed us to sneak up past them. Prior to that we were outside the top 3 the whole time. But went on a good run in the last 8, winning all 8.

I played on pro default and won the title and got promoted. Now for the first season in Bundesliga I am moving up to WC on default (for now, might switch to community sliders). And try to not get relegated. My team is still not that great. My best player is my 73 rated keeper, who is 35 and wants to retire at the end of his contract this season. I'm probably going to get slaughter in most games. So my goal is to finish in 15th, one spot above the relegation zone. 16th wouldn't be too bad, as that is the play off game. I could probably beat the 3rd best team in the 2.bundesliga.

And my chances of increasing the team to compete is slim. Was only given 3.2m for budget. I might try and upgrade my defense and use the rest to upgrade my youth scout. Because the 3/3 star scout I had last season didn't turn up any future stars. Well, they could be if they had more time to develop. But I might have to end up selling them off to get more funds.

I also was offered the Wales job, which I took. I was about 50-50 on friendlies. Then in the EC I lost all three group games. Losing to Germany 4-1, Turkey 2-1 and Netherlands 1-0. I retired from the job after that. I figured they deserved better.

Slow speed. Pass speed is a little slow but I'd rather have that then them ping pong passing it around.

If anyone wants close to real life Champions League and Europa League draws for the first year of their career mode, you can set up most of the groups like they are in real life, of course you won't get every team, and you can't replace teams from one European country with a team from another country.

I just won Europa League with Liverpool (finished 7th in BPL) and got seeded directly back into Europa League instead of Champions League. Has anyone else had this happen or is this just a one off?

this might have been asked before, but is there a workaround for players not progressing? last year we could loan out players and recall them the next day but this doesn't seem to work again this year (or maybe I'm just really unlucky?)

in a norwich career right now. first season: zouma, embolo, ryan gauld, jesus vallejo all progressed very nicely. year two: none of them have progressed a single point in any stats in two months. I even tried loaning out zouma and embolo and recalled them, making sure they both had the "Potential to Be Special" tag on their return to the club. I also bought halilovic second season and he won't grow either. anyone have a workaround?

why would that give you entry to the champions league?

Gonna start tonight with FSV Frankfurt. no money, no hope, but i am going to make them a force to be reckoned with!

I actually started this last night, just on pro just now, will up it later on once i get used to the tweaks to the game.

Start off by getting all players that i could, over 25 and 65 or less rated up for sale. All players under 22 with mid 60ish ratings went up for loans.

I have got a few players on loan, noteably Thiam from Monaco on a 2 year loan, he was really good on last years version so he will be my main central midfielder and hopefully a possible buy once i am in the bundesliga (assuming i can get promotion in the first season).

I have the option of using the takeovers from the catalogue, but i'm not sure if i wanna do that just yet? Would certainly be nice to buy a few players...hopefully win the 2mil for the pre season tournament!

why would that give you entry to the champions league?

They changed the rules last season, the Europa League winners go straight into the next seasons Champions league group stage, it's how Sevilla qualified for this season

Ah! I was not aware of that at all. Obviously something Fifa/EA has missed out on
