I'm finally back guys! If I start losing in FIFA I'll blame it on adjusting to the ring, which of course has no actual effect. I'm so far behind right now but I've been trying my best to keep up here haha.

Apparently any time I'm gone a war breaks out.

The ring may not have any actual effect, but trust me the first time you pick up your controller with the ring on you'll feel the difference. Although it may be such a minor difference that you won't even realize it's the ring between your skin and the controller, but you'll feel it lol

How do I know this? Well back when I was in high school I gave my girlfriend a promise ring and later on she thought it would be an amazing idea to give me one as well. I know what you're thinking:
    Spoiler

But I still wore it to keep her happy. Lol Eventually I ended up losing it at the park one day, and I swear to God it wasn't intentional! Lol It really wasn't though.

Lmao I hadn't noticed that but it is actually very true! All hell breaks loose when you step out for a couple days haha

I was finally able to watch another one of your videos. Good stuff as always man! Amazing goals against Newcastle I especially enjoyed Dybala's. Took some good vision to see him making a run amongst the crowd. Delph's goal was wondrous though I don't think I've ever scored a finesse shot like that in 15. Nottingham was a surprise package wasn't expecting that from a championship side but you were able to take the lead in the final minutes. One would think that Nottingham would play defensively against a prem side but looking at the match facts they pretty much went toe to toe. Their shot accuracy was terrible but they really tried to get forward. In the end it looks like they made the mistake of pushing forward with too many men which opened up space for you to score the third but they didn't have another choice. Well played man. Can't afford another close one like that! Also congrats on your graduation! Have a safe trip!

Right, from page 1077 again. I got my coffee but I haven't eaten yet, so this better go quick, lol.

@Simppu - 1077, some pretty confident wins, yet how did you tie with Hamburg, is a surprise. Your team is very good and I also liked how you showed your tactics, it seems to be working. Good luck!

1087, sad to see you lose against Bayern and Bilbao, the B-s were too much I guess. You are still in a good position in the league, yet I hope you can bounce back in the CL next round and go on to the semi-finals! Make me proud!

@ChicoBass - 1077, well, this was a surprise. Again, a lot of thought put in to the tactics, always have to praise that. You were really close to winning the whole thing, but I guess Brazil is just too much.

@southernmetalhead - 1077, even though things didn't go as planned, you are still doing well in the top 3. I hope the next month goes more your way. Kanu seems like a big player for you.

Next page, and you went in! Very well done. The fight against Zenit and CSKA in the top is pretty difficult, hope you can continue this form and perform well.

1080, here we go, new career mode with Plymouth. A good introduction and I like the English player rule! I hope you do well!

@indiblue - 1077, a pretty good start already, also liking the Gudjohnson-Bent combo, old but gold. Promotion seems like a really possible thing. Good luck!

@Keano16 - 1079, a rough start, though you are not far from the top 2, so there is a lot of time to climb back. Oh, and I also like the way you have done the table, looks sweet!

1087, you are still at the same place. Even with the few wins, the ties must have hindered you. Though, I am really surprised with the tie against Blackpool, I guess Lewis was a beast.

@sportsfreak - 1085, some good moves, Yedlin is a solid player to pick up aswell. The games didn't go perfectly, yet you are still doing fine. Good luck on this!

@jamiec47 - 1088, A lot better, you are really close and fighting for the top spots. Pritchard had a great month for you!

@BlueEagle - First off, welcome! Second off, I like the team pick! Your squad looks pretty good to start with, and bringing in Asamoah was nice aswell! Keen to see how this goes on!

@Tex - You see, you can't leave, nor Rabbit. Sh*t goes down when you two aren't around, haha. But congrats to you man!

@ChicoBass - Holy hell that budget! I like the signings, Gomez and Campana are both sick! Pretty good pre-season to start with, and I hope you can win the Supercup! Always a fantastic CM, keep it up!

@Moose - I am heading off to school atm, but I promise I will watch your CM when I am back.

And I agree, where the f*ck is Rabbit????

Yaaaaaay, you're a married man now! I'm so happy for both of you, congratulations! I wish you all the best and I hope that your marriage is a very, very long and happy one! Just remember that the woman is always right and it's impossible to fight their logic haha.

            What about the honeymoon?

First of all, welcome to the thread! I hope you enjoy your stay here!

Inter is a good choice, I've always been interested in doing a career with them. The squad is pretty good with the young talents like Shaqiri, Kovacic and Icardi but it also has many oldies in it. Asamoah and Scuffet are interesting transfers and I like them. I'm a bit surprised that you didn't sell anyone else, though. The start to the season was a good one.

It sucks that Camarasa left but you got a quality replacement in Campaña. He looks a very solid midfielder and I'm glad you're liking him so far. Gomez's high attacking workrate sounds annoying. Maybe you could try using him as a wingback or as a defensive midfielder depending on his stats? Also, that's a very nice budget.

Good month there with a few nice wins. The draws weren't the best but it looks like there's a conspiracy going on between the keepers of the teams whose names begin with the letter 'b'. Pritchard looked good this month. You can still reach the top two, I know it.

              Ha Ho He

              April 2017

              Hertha BSC 1 - 2 Borussia Dortmund
              Werner 83'
              Hamsik 28', Grosskreutz 45'

Hertha Berlin's losing streak jumped to three after this very disappointing performance. The two games against Bilbao were scheduled to be played two days before and two days after this match which meant that Simon Müller had to field a complete second team against BVB. The game started off pretty evenly but Marek Hamsik's goal was enough to change the game. The ball bounced to Daniel Didavi from a corner and the attacking midfielder decided to fake shot instead of passing the ball. Hamsik had an easy job stealing the ball and then he shot the ball into the top left corner with a wonderful strike. In stoppage time Kevin Grosskreutz doubled the lead after some poor marking. The second half was dull as Dortmund defended their lead and Hertha failed to create any major chances. The Berliners managed to pull one back in the 83rd minute from a counter attack but that was no where near enough.

I made a little mistake with the screenshot so here's an image of their fans.

              Quarter Final, 2nd leg
              Athletic Bilbao - Hertha BSC

Let's repeat the events of the first leg. Bilbao defended very well and Hertha failed to create almost any chances. Fifteen minutes before the end Iker Muniain scored a game-winning goal to finish a nice passing move. The away goal doesn't have a big impact as Hertha need to score one more than the Basque side to progress anyway. That's everything.

The dragon's lair, also known as San Mames, was almost full. The atmosphere was buzzing and amazing, just like every other time Athletic Club are playing in front of their home fans. Many big teams including Real Madrid and Barcelona have lost to Athletic on this stadium. Hertha's task wasn't going to be easy at all but the Berliners believed in themselves.

And so the game began. Simon Müller set his side to push everyone forward from the first minute as his team looked for the very important goal. The Berliners created chances and had many shots in the first half but Gorka Iraizoz and the post were there to deny them. The German team registered seven shots in the first half and only bad luck was keeping them away from the semi finals. The second half started and Hertha's flow was disturbed. Ten minutes into the second half Bilbao started a counter attack. The ball was played quickly to Markel Susaeta who crossed the ball from the right flank. Aritz Aduriz headed the ball to Iker Muniain in the middle who just tapped the ball past Diego Benaglio to double his team's lead. The Basques then parked the bus and let Hertha come and them. This cost them a goal in the 83rd minute when Hakan Calhanoglu got into the box and shot the ball into the top right corner. The comeback was on! Four minutes later Hertha broke into the box again. Salomon Kalou got the ball, ran at the near post, took a shot... and it hit the post again! The *** **** post saved Bilbao twice from conceding! The remaining few minutes were mainly Bilbao timewasting. It was done. Athletic Bilbao had eliminated Hertha Berlin from the Champions League. Many tears were shread in Berlin.

              Mainz 05 0 - 1 Hertha BSC
              Kalou 47'

Even though Hertha won this game it can't be said that they played well. The Berliners are suffering from a bad run of form and they finally ended their four games long streak of not winning. Mainz was a tough challenge but luckily Salomon Kalou's pressing was successful as he stole the ball from Mainz's kickoff. He then took the ball around the keeper and put the ball into the net. That's everything that happened.

              Semi Final
              Hamburger SV 1 - 2 Hertha BSC
              Lasogga 90' pen
              Werner 47', Platte 78'

Hertha are through to the cup final and they were finally able to beat Hamburger SV. Just like the other games between these two teams this game wasn't that exciting but at least three goals were scored. Hertha's Timo Werner opened the scoreline in the 47th minute when he stole the ball from HSV's player right after kickoff and Felix Platte doubled the lead fifteen minutes before the end with a first time shot from Son's low cross. The traitor Pierre-Michel Lasogga finished his second penalty in two games against Hertha in stoppage time to pull one back but it wasn't enough. Hertha will face Köln, who beat Schalke and Wolfsburg, in the final.

              Hertha BSC 5 - 2 Borussia Mönchengladbach
              Kalou 16', 43', Draxler 26', Calhanoglu 41', Jatschke OG 67'
              T. Hazard 32', Raffael 58' pen

This was the first game in about four weeks in which Hertha actually played like the current Bundesliga champions. It looked like something had happened before the match and everyone looked completely different compared to the last few games. Salomon Kalou scored the first goal of the game only fifteen minutes into it. Julian Draxler cut in from the right flank and passed the ball to Kalou who just tapped it into the net. Ten minutes later Draxler scored one himself from a counter attack. Six minutes later Thorgan Hazard pulled one back by scoring a parried shot but about ten minutes after that Hakan Calhanoglu dribbled past a defender to get into the box before shooting the ball into the top right corner. Just two minutes later Kalou got a brace after stealing the ball from Borussia's Jantschke. Ten minutes into the second half the ex-Hertha player Raffael pulled another one back from the penalty spot but shortly after that Hertha got another goal when Tony Jantschke passed Heung-Min Son's pass into the net.

              Eintracht Frankfurt 1 - 3 Hertha BSC
              Wanderson 39'
              Son 26', 45', Kalou 35'

The final game of the month saw Hertha play a good game against Eintracht Frankfurt. Heung-Min Son opened the scoreline in the 26th minute from a counter attack and ten minutes later Salomon Kalou doubled the lead from another counter attack. Only few minutes later Frankfurt's Wanderson pulled one back after some nice passing but about five minutes after that Son got a brace and buried Frankfurt's hopes of getting back into the game. After this win Hertha need two points from their remaining two games to win the title for the second time in a row.

              Player of the Month

              Diego Benaglio

Surprisingly the best player of the month of April was the starting goalkeeper of the team Diego Benaglio. The 33-year-old has been very good at the back since joining Hertha and he's been worth the price in every way possible. The Swiss keeper makes at least two impressive saves in each game and he's improved Hertha's defence a lot.

              Bundesliga Table

              1. Hertha BSC, 78 pts
              2. Bayern München, 74 pts
              3. FC Schalke 04, 56 pts
              4. Borussia Dortmund, 52 pts
              5. Bayer Leverkusen, 49 pts
              6. VfL Wolfsburg, 49 pts
              ----------------------------------------------------
              16. SC Freiburg, 32 pts
              17. Fortuna Düsseldorf, 25 pts
              18. FC Köln, 20 pts

              My Thoughts

I have no idea what was going on in the first four games of the month. Nothing went our way and I wasn't able to create almost any chances. The loss to Bilbao was unexpected and I'm still pissed off about it. Benaglio, Son and Draxler played well and Kalou got a few important goals. I'm still pretty happy about the results, though. We have three games left: league games against Augsburg and Freiburg and the cup final against Köln. We should win all of them and I've decided to change the team if we fail to win the domestic double.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

                The New Clough

                November 2014

                November 1, Macron Stadium
                FL Championship: Match 13

                Bolton 0-2 Nott'm Forest

                Dicko 9' (Pen) Paterson 45'

                MotM: Karl Darlow (NFO, 8.6)

It was a very tight game today at the Macron. The penalty was fairly harsh on McNaughton and then Lonergan was unlucky not to save Nouha's (Dicko) effort. That's now his 7th league goal of the season. Paterson, who won the penalty and had a great game, headed in a wonderful corner delivery from Danilo (Cataldi) to send us in at the break 2-0 up. That's what we kept it at and Karl (Darlow) was immense in goal today.

Jay Spearing will be out for 3 weeks with a hyper extended knee.

                November 8, City Ground
                FL Championship: Match 14

                Nott'm Forest 1-1 Derby County

                Dicko 40'
                Martin 58'

                MotM: Nouha Dicko (NFO, 7.8)

Man this was a special game. It was my first East Midlands Derby and boy was it tight. McClaren's lads may have been languishing around 15th and 16th but they showed no signs of that today. Dicko netted his 8th goal stealing the ball off Keogh and sprinting clear on goal. Grant did well to save his first shot but the Malian couldn't miss when it came back to him. Scot Chris Martin equalized after former Chelsea youth Michael Mancienne gave the ball away. We had some chances near the end to snatch the three points but we were unable to take them. Tesche didn't do too badly when he came on after asking for more game time.

                November 11, Vicarage Road
                FL Championship: Match 15

                Watford 2-1 Nott'm Forest

                Fabbrini 5' Iriney 65'
                Assombalonga 10'

                MotM: Iriney (WAT, 8.7)

A lot of the side was rotated due to fatigue as we traveled to Vicarage Road to come up against a gifted Watford side. The lads played fairly well but we switched off twice and were punished. Lascelles was caught out of position for Fabbrini's goal early on and then Lichaj allowed himself to be dispossessed by Iriney for the winner. Assombalonga netted again today with a very tidy on-the-stretch volley.

                November 15, City Ground
                FL Championship: Match 16

                Nott'm Forest 1-1 Leeds United

                Paterson 38'
                Antenucci 86' (Pen)

                MotM: Michail Antonio (NFO, 8.6)

Complete and utter bollocks of a decision by the ref for the penalty. Replays clearly showed that Jamaal (Lascelles) got the ball, not the man first. The game was extremely hard fought and Paterson scored what should have been the only goal of the game tapping in off Cohen's saved shot.

                November 22, Cardiff City Stadium
                FL Championship: Match 17

                Cardiff City 1-2 Nott'm Forest

                Assombalonga 13' Paterson 35:
                Adeyemi 86'

                MotM: Nathaniel Chalobah

We bossed possession as usual against a quite talented Cardiff side. MOTM Chalobah was solid in breaking up play in front of our defence but he also provided the pass for Assombalonga's goal. In from Jamie Paterson made it 2-0 after managing to win the ball in Cardiff's area and dribble past three defenders before slotting home. Adeyemi got a slice of luck late on when his shot came back to him after hitting the post.

                November 29, City Ground
                FL Championship: Match 18

                Nott'm Forest 3-1 Brentford

                Assombalonga 16' 57' Wilson 90'
                Hogan 45'

                MotM: Jack Hunt (NFO, 8.5)

Brentford showed exactly why they are bottom of the league with an obvious lack of quality in the squad. Assombalonga bagged a brace in another fine performance. Both goals had him powering through the defence before showing a finisher's touch. Hogan headed in just before halftime after some really poor marking. Robert Tesche and Kelvin Wilson both had really good games when they stepped in for Cataldi and Lascelles. The German picked up two assists and earned an 8.5 rating. Wilson also earned the same rating and headed in Tesche's corner in the last minute to cap off a fine performance.

                Player of the Month

                Jamie Paterson

The young English winger excelled this month grabbing there goals from the left side of midfield. He has grown extremely well and we hope that he can continue to do so as he is only 23 years of age.

                Manager Thoughts

It wasn't a bad month at all. We aimed for 12 points and we achieved 11 which is great. That allowed us to climb back into the playoff spaces in 5th. We had good wins against Bolton, Cardiff and Brentford along with a solid draw in the East Midlands derby against Derby. I would have liked to have beaten Leeds but oh well. Watford although they are only 10th are a solid squad and I think that they cane no doubt challenge for the playoffs after Christmas. Derby are also having a surprising struggle, with the talent they have, in 14th. They did however sell Will Hughs to PSG for £5.500.000. Shocking!

                23/12 Blackburn (h)
                27/12 Reading (a)

Having not lost at home yet we are looking to take the six available points on home turf. We are also going to look for seven points from the three away games with the draw at Reading being acceptable. So in total that's 13/15 points.

Thanks for Reading and I hope you enjoyed it!

                  What about the honeymoon?

Do not ever miss a day here. You're the one who keeps everything in order!
Thanks man! I'll agree with you that the woman is always right, as long as she doesn't talk bad about FIFA!

No honeymoon yet, we had deadlines at work that we had to get back for, but we plan on taking one before the end of the year still. It gives us time to plan it out which is nice.

And I'll try not to leave again, I know how much I am needed here now!

Alright, so basically, I've been thinking, and I want to do something special for this CM. I want to do what would be a rivalry based CM, and it would be done with one other person (at least), but I don't think a lot of people are sitting on this forum without a CM to do. But basically, it'd be a side-by-side career mode, where this other said person and I would have a lot of the same constants in the CM, like the same league. I would also prefer it to be two rival teams, so there can be a healthy rivalry, but if anyone is interested hmu. I'll probably wait to start until someone else would want to join, because I think this could be very good.

EDIT: I hope this makes sense...

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

Alright I figured I should give an update on my Juventus career...

                      I am in February.

So in the window I had around 40 million to spend. I ended bringing a couple of pre-contract guys that should contribute next year. Sami Khedira and Winston Reid. And with the money I made a semi stupid choice and splurged and signed Diego Costa for 22 million and Caceres. Caceres wanted out the team due to lack of playing time so he cut down the cost of Costa by 10 million. I'm in the semifinals of the domestic cup against Inter. Atop the table in Serie A by 6 points over AC Milan and Roma. I am 46 points through 20 games played. And I managed to get out my group in the Champions League. Myself and Bayern made it out of the group. I forget seeding though. In the round of 16 Costa will return to Stamford Bridge and face Chelsea. Who are tied for first in the Prem behind ManU on a goal differential of 6.

Also I took up a national team. I received a call from the Spanish Football Federation and they offered me a job and how could I refuse such a job. And we are leading our European Qualifier group by 6 points over Greece. And a 17 goal differential. We haven't dropped a game yet. And have only conceded 1 GOAL. Also Vidal is leading scorer in Serie A with 12 goals and Llorente is behind him with 10. Llorente is leading assister with 6. And Buffon tied for clean sheets with Handanovic at 7 a piece.

                        A Roma update.

The mutiny or anarchy has been quelled for a little while. We have taken nine points straight and moved back into a tie for second with Lazio. Juventus is still leading the league. Also I received an offer I could not pass up. To manage my country the USA. I will try to start rebuilding some young talent on the national team.

Then there are five, with five matches left in May it is full rush to try and clinch a Champions Cup position. We will see Genoa, Lazio, AC Milan and Palermo (cannot think of the fifth team we will play). In the offseason I will looking at some transfers to sure up the back in. My CB are very clumsy at best and GK is aging. I will also look for one or two CMs

So, gonna be completely honest, I got the scorers again due to the pictures I took, but I was drunk when I played this game, so I don't remember much. My bad, hopefully won't happen again.

So, our first league game didn't really go our way, as Crystal took the lead early, with Puncheon winning the ball in the box and slotting past the keeper. Yet Teddy Bishop scored his first goal for us, as he got the ball from the midfield, ran with it, held his own, and tied the game up. Luckily, we didn't lose too many points.

Ings gave us the lead early, as we earned a penalty. O'Shea hit Jutkiewicz straight in the face and he dropped like a log. However, our own defensive mistakes gave Fletcher a easy chance to score, as he went 1-on-1 with the keeper and put it in. Fletcher did score another, as he won the ball from Bishop, got past our defense and shot it straight past Heaton to the top corner. Jutkiewicz was the man with the last laugh though, as he won the ball in the box after a sloppy clearance from a corner. He nutmegged the keeper and saved us another point.

This is what I call bull. Since it is the COC, I decided to rest the main players and let our youngsters play. Yet City had another idea, as Modric made his debut for the club against us. We got hammere, no chance at all. The first two goals were both headers and Modric scored his own, a beautiful volley outside the box. Sordell did get to score one, as he managed to somehow get to the box and take a shot, which was poorly saved by Caballero. Still, Bony finished with a hat-trick, as another hit the net. We are out of the cup just like that, and I can't even be mad, losing to a team like that.

                              45' Ings (Jutkiewicz)
                              84' Ideye (Brunt)

Last game of the month did not start well, as Yacob somehow walked through our defense and put it past Heaton with ease. Yet Ings was on the case, as a good pass by Lukas got him behind the defense, where he shot it off the postand in. Anichebe answered back with a cannon-like shot, right to the top corner. Yet Ings was determined to do the same, as his shot to the bottom corner was also strongly struck first time. Yet West Brom got the last laugh, as from a free-kick right outside our box, Brunt got the ball, passed it to Ideye and he scored. A tough way to end the month and lose 3 points.

                              League Table

                              My Thoughts

Right, more of a Burnley style of month, here are a few talking points though.

COC Cheese - I mean, really, playing your first team in the Capital One Cup, cmon City, what are you thinking? I guess Pellegrini really wants that title. Oh well, we are out of that race.

Injuries - We have had an injury in almost every game this month. Few of those are on our starting players.

Matt Taylor, our starting CM, got injured in training before the Burton Albion game, as he suffered a ACL tear and will be out for another 5 months

Henri Lansbury, another one of our starting CMs, got injured in the Burton Albion game, as he tore his calf muscle and he will be out for another 6 weeks.

Mason Bennett managed to sprain his ankle in the Man City game, and he will be out for another 2 weeks.

Teddy Bishop hyper extended his knee in the Sunderland game, however, he has made some good recovery so he will be back in 4 days, missing the first game of the month.

Jason Shackell will also miss the first game of the month, as he bruised his elbow in the West Brom game.

Next Month - Next month starts us off with a game against Leicester City, then we go home to face both West Ham and Everton. I have no idea how these games will play out, but hopefully, we can bounce back from the injuries and perform.

I hope you enjoyed this post, please, if you have any feedback, do let me know!
