I'm looking forward to the transfer window!
I have never seen Bayern so inconsistent, they only broke into the top 4 after January although to be fair it wasn't them Dortmund and Levurkusen got off to terrible starts as well. Luckily I was able to take advantage of it.

Seferovic really showed his class towards the end of the season although he did have a couple of injury problems throughout the season. Due to his injury problems I'm not sure whether I would take a huge offer for him as his starting value is now £16,500,000.

like you said, I have to be challenging for the double next season and just challenge in the champions league as I know how difficult it is to win but I feel the team that has been built over the past 4 seasons is capable of making a decent challenge.

Just seen by budget for next season, the board gave me a huge £20 mil so should be able to make so decent additions, seriously considering Calanoghlu, Xhaka and Kramer.

You did well to replace the two fullbacks with better players and the Bosman signings look good, too. And then we get to the big signing. Nadir Ciftci has been reunited with Tex Bumosix aka Tex Bumoseis aka Berhalter once again! I'm sure the legend will bang a ton of goals for you again.
Thanks, the 5 year plan is fun to go back and look at the goals I set for myself and see how I have stacked up to them. So far I have been slightly better, but the ultimate goal is the Premier League so we still have 2 more seasons to make that happen!

Sorry, I let Tubbs walk away when his contract expired at the end of last season. So he didn't get sold, but he just wasn't up to par for my squad anymore at only a 62 rating so I let him go.

I couldn't resist the allure of bringing in Çiftçi again! You know how he is a constant in my careers haha. What really pushed me over the edge to bring him in was the fact that he actually came through the Portsmouth academy.

How could you sell Francomb. HOW??? Well, at least you sent him off to a competitive team like Bolton. Great to see you will be working Ciftci again as he has yet to fail you in any of your careers. Hoping he can rise like he has for you before and really make a difference in the squad!

Haha, well I felt he deserved more playing time and with Pereira entrenched in my line up he wasn't going to get it since I was playing him as a CAM. Also with Çiftçi coming in I knew that he could play as a ST, RW, LW, or CAM. The funny thing is that I thought about you as I decided to sell him. But hey! You sold him too so no judging!

After editing a clip in Upload Studio you can save the clips to SkyDrive and thr clips are then saved to a folder called Xbox Games Clips.

Zivkovic wins PL player of the month by scoring 6 goals in the opening 3 games of the season!

                  My Thoughts
This has been an amazing start to the season. Though we have conceded two goals a game, we have scored 11 goals in 3 games and are top of the league. And Zivkovic, what a player. He has dominated in every game and been too much to handle for the opposition. But we do know that there is a long season ahead of us and the results won't always be as nice as they are now. What we have to do is show some consistency in our play and get poinst against the teams that we should be beating, if we are going to achieve Europe League qualification this season.

                  Many thanks for reading

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?

There was much doubt surrounding the newly appointed Leeds United manager Chavez as we saw the Whites go through a difficult preseason. Leeds' preseason started a little rough with a 1-0 victory that left a bitter taste despite the victory. The team were completely harmless and dull in attack, but in the closing minutes the Jamaican midfielder Rodolph Austin smashed the ball into the back of the net with a powerful shot. Had it not been for Austin, we would have considered Chavez's first match an absolute failure, but the match still stands as terrible overall. The Peacocks continued to struggle after the win, and finished their preseason with two 0-0 results. Chavez had given the strikers Steve Morison and Billy Sharp the most opportunities during the preseason, but neither was able to solidify themselves under the new manager. Chavez decided to start the first match of the season against Huddersfield Town with a 4-5-1 Flat formation using Mirco Antenucci as the starting striker, but the Italian also failed to impress. At halftime the team changed formations to a 4-4-1-1 (w/ CAM) and the team looked much better, eventually taking the victory with a late goal by Rodolph Austin once again. Despite having a total of 7 strikers in the squad none of them have worked out on the field, making the position Leeds' weakest even though it is the most occupied. Antenucci was given three more matches as starter and in all three matches he failed to impress. It was rare to see him even take a shot on goal. However the rest of the team has come together extremely well and the midfielders have taken over the goal scoring responsibilities, with Alex Mowatt being the current club top scorer with 4 goals. Leeds are currently in 1st place on the league table after 6 matches, with 6 victories. An amazing achievement for a team with strikers that can't score goals. Unfortunately Leeds haven't had the same luck in the Capitol One Cup and were just recently eliminated in barely the 3rd round of the tournament. Leeds' alternative lineup, or B-Team as many have begun to call it, started the competition with a great 3-1 victory over Port Vale with goals by Morison (2) and Adryan (1). Chavez would then field his strongest lineup in the next fixture against Crystal Palace, his biggest challenge at that time. Leeds played well against the Premier League side, forcing them to a penalty shoot out after 120 minutes and then taking the victory with a 4-3 score. The Whites would have an even bigger challenge in the next round though, as it was announced they would face the historic BPL giant Liverpool. Again, Chavez fielded his strongest side but they just weren't able to keep up with the Reds. There was also some controversy to the fixture, as Leeds United's Sam Byram had received a red card in the FL Championship fixture against Charlton Athletic a few days before the match against Liverpool. The red card meant that Byram would be forced to miss the next league fixture, but the FA would later announce that Byram's suspension would be effective in the Capitol One fixture instead, forcing him to miss the match against Liverpool even though his red card was from the league. Chavez would then appeal the decision but the FA did not change their minds.

Chavez started the match against Liverpool with a 5-4-1 Flat formation with the Brazilian prospect Adryan replacing Byram at RM. After seeing that Brendan Rodgers was also playing with 5 at the back Chavez decided to switch back to the usual 4-4-1-1 (w/CAM) formation he's been using this year. The change looked rather risky, but it actually paid off as Leeds went toe to toe against Liverpool and we had ourselves an extremely tight match. Liverpool are a strong side though, and right before halftime Ibe put the Reds ahead. Leeds weren't going down without a fight though, and barely 2 minutes into the second half Rodolph Austin equalized the match with a powerful left footed shot into the top corner (pictured above). The stadium erupted in cheer, but in the following play Borini would put Liverpool ahead once again. Chavez then changed formation to a 4-4-2 Flat, bringing Steve Morison into the match to play up front along with Billy Sharp who had been having a difficult match as the lone striker against 3 centre backs. The fans were hoping for a comeback from Leeds but Daniel Sturridge would make it 3-1 for Liverpool in the closing minutes to guarantee Leeds' elimination and just like that, Leeds said goodbye to the Capitol One Cup. The defeat against Liverpool didn't damage the squad's morale though and Leeds continue to go strong in the league with Billy Sharp slowly starting to pick up his form. The striker crisis may be coming to an end in the next few matches.

                      FL Championship League Table
                      1. Leeds United - 18 points
                      2. Sheffield Wednesday - 14 points
                      3. Brighton & Hove Albion - 12 points
                      4. Norwich City - 12 points
                      5. Derby County - 11 points
                      6. Millwall - 10 points
                      ----------
                      22. Rotherham United - 4 points
                      23. Blackpool - 3 points
                      24. Huddersfield Town - 2 points

                      Conclusion
I know I said I wasn't going to post this career but I had enough to talk about so I figured why not. Not my usual format with a big cut back on details though. What do you guys think? Would an update like this every now and then be fine?

This is our starting lineup. 4-4-1-1 with a CAM (Mowatt). In midfield Austin has the instruction to stay back and stay on the edge of the box so he's more of a defensive midfielder while Murphy is left with no instructions and is free to push forward at will. At the back, Wootton is instructed to stay back while attacking which allows us to play with 3 at the back when Taylor overlaps in attack.

And this is our B-Team. Very similar formation and instructions, but the difference is that this 4-4-1-1 is with a CF (Adryan). Adryan looked like he was going to be a flop in the preseason but he's been playing extremely well with the B-Team. As long as he's playing CF he'll be one of our best men on the field. I've really been impressed by Sloth, who is naturally a CM but since we have very few wingers I've been forced to play him at RM. He's been amazing though and the right wing gives him enough space to show off his ball control. In midfield, Bianchi has the defensive responsibilities while Cook is free to push forward.

We still have a lot to go until January, but I've already been planning ahead for transfers. My priority will be to get rid of many of our strikers and use that money to invest in some wingers. I have too many strikers and not enough wide men. I plan on following Leeds' signing IRL and purchase the LM Stuart Dallas. I also liked their new striker Chris Wood, but I'm in between either signing him or one of the experienced strikers from Guadalajara to help resolve our striker crisis. Can't have a career without a Guadalajara player haha I also want to bring in a couple centre backs from the UK to replace at least one of our non-UK centre backs. Any suggestions? The only defenders I can think of are ones that I used at Wimbledon and I'm trying not to sign any players I used at Wimbledon. Although a partnership of Hewitt-Byram down the right wing would be absolutely amazing! Any feedback/suggestions are much appreciated.

                      Thanks For Reading!

                        Transfers
                        Transfers Ins and Outs.png

We had some huge moves in this window but it is prehaps the outgoings that are more shocking. We made a huge amount of money in this window in deals that worked out for all parties.

Due to the success of last season we knew we would have offers for our players but we were not prepared for what happened in this window. Seferovic had a phenomenal season in the 2017/18 season but was hampered by injuries. Werner asked to leave as he was disspaointed with his lack of game time and Bayern offered more than we could turn down on deadline day, although we were unable to bring a replacement in.

Goreztka and Calhanoglu were our biggest moves of the summer for a combined £30,000,000 and I think it will prove to be money well spent come the end of the season. 2 technically gifted players with extrodinary talent, who we were able to persuade with the lure of Champions League football. One of the moves that I am most excited about is the return of the prodigal son Marcel Sabitzer who was sold to Bayer 04 2 years ago. As soon as we heard of his avaliablity we made it happen simple as that. He is a player the fans love and we know his strengths and how to play to those strengths. Due to the poor form of Josip Drmic in the start of the season we were able to work out an agreement for the transfer of Alexsandar Dragovic, a straight swap which i'm sure both clubs are over the moon with.
I'm excited with the buisness we done and with over £45,000,000 left for January should be be competing in all competitions we will look to bring in a huge name to make a statment to the rest of europe.

                        Squad List 2018/19
                        Squad List.png

We have opted against loaning any players out in this window as we are in 3 competitions this seaoson the Bundesliga, Deustcher Pokal and Champions League so we are going to need a squad big enough to compete in all 3. Every player will get a chance to show me what they can do and it is all about who takes their chance when they get the opportunity.

                        Formation
                        Formation.jpg

We are using the 4-2-3-1 that we had a lot of success with last season with Draxler playing the more central role of the 3 attacking midfielders. We still have that solid spine to the team with Sule at the back, Geis in the middle and Draxler behind the striker and I'm confident that the new additions will improve us this season.

                        August 2018
                        August Results.png

We have got of to a brilliant start this season. The draw against Wolfsburg was a good resutl considering that a lot of the players had not played together during pre-season so I was thrilled with the result. We continues to impress with victories over Bor.M'gladbach and Eint.Frankfurt keeping clean sheets in every game so far in the process. I can't say that anyone has stood out so far but the team is working well as a unit which is more important than individual accolades from my perspective.

Hey guys! I need some help. In my first 8 games of Swansea season 2 I have conceded 17 goals, when top team only 4. I am second and seem to score a lot but this has to stop. If anyone has any defending tips, I seriously need some help

@Tex: First off, well done on finishing 4th and reaching the playoff final in your first season in the Championship! You made some good moves in the window, those fullbacks really did need upgrading. And the man Ciftci is back and no doubt will bang in the goals. You can get promoted this season.

@Chico: You can't stay away! Any level of detail is good to see, as long as you are comfortable with it. An amazing start with all wins and you claimed a few scalps in the cup. Shame Liverpool knocked you out but they are a very solid team. I hope that your strikers start scoring soon.

@Luke: Great achievement on winning the Bundesliga by such a big margin. You could say that the bigger teams didn't perform very well, but you can only do your best, and that's what you did. Some massive moves in the window. Getting that much for Werner and he wanted away is a great move. You invested the money wisely and getting Calhanoglu + Goretzka for 30m is a steal. One thing though, are you not a bit worried only having one keeper?

@JC: 8th isn't bad and if you can stop some of the goals going into your net you should move quite a bit up next season. Zivkovic has been a great signing by the looks of it having already netted 6 times! Laporte should be good at the hear of your defence too. A tip for defending would be, to try and keep your team's shape. Don't rush around with one player sprinting after the ball. Just shepherd the opponent and switch to your nearest player to the ball. Be patient, as long as you're goalside the opposition will find it difficult to score.

@Terp: A solid enough first season in charge. You did what was asked of you in finishing midtable. Next season will be one for you to kick on in with some good signings.

@Cabee: Some solid results in Jan/Feb. You lost the games you weren't expected to win and kept getting points on the board which is what you need to do. A massive achievement on knocking Roma out of the Europa League though, congrats. Sinclair has proven you right in bringing him back.

@Moose: Always nice to pick up some early silverware. It was a comfortable win in the end to be fair. Sterling for £16m is a steal and so is Schneiderlin at £2m and shifting on dead weight in Grenier. Nicely done!

@Simp: I voted to not continue Hertha because of there going to be another one on '16. Will you continue Valencia or start a new career if that is what is voted for?

                            My Career:

So yeah, I started one with Shrewsbury after seeing what Tex and Cabee have done with Portsmouth and Exeter. I'm not sure whether Palace will be done but I may do the two of them to stop me playing one too much and then inevitably becoming bored. What do you guys think?

Swansea Season 2 - September and October Update

                              Swansea 1 - Shelvey 90'

                              Swansea 4 - Zivkovic 3', Montero 28', Lopez 37', Bnou-Marzuk 84'
                              Crystal Palace 2 - Williams 5', Sanogo 86'

                              Capital One Cup Round 3
                              Woves 2 - Afobe 5', McDonald 25'
                              Swansea 3 - Zivkovic 56', 65' (PEN), Eder 59'

                              Everton 1 - McCarthy 87'
                              Swansea 4 - Eder 13', 17', Zivkovic 21', 71'

Tabanou LB wins player of the month for September, with 7 assists!

September was not a bad month for us. We did lose to Chelsea but scored a lot of goals against Palace and Everton. There is still a problem with conceding goals isn't getting any better. Hopefully this can change for October.

                              October

                              Swansea 4 - Eder 21', 78', Dyer 57', Laporte 74'
                              Bournemouth 2 - Tabanou 45' (OG), Atsu 79'

                              Manchester United 3 - Rooney 50', Schweinsteiger 63', Schneiderlin 83'
                              Swansea 2 - Zivkovic 13', Eder 18'

                              Swansea 2 - Shelvey 6', Eder 80'
                              Sunderland 3 - Van Aanholt 19', Cardozo 32', Rodwell 78'

Capital One Cup Round of 16
                              Swansea 2 - Montero 49', 84'
                              Brighton 1 - Lualua 90'

                              West Brom 1 - Gardner 8'
                              Swansea 0

Breaking News! Zivkovic suffers a broken ankle and is out of action for 3 months

                              Swansea - 3rd - 18 PTS

So Zivkovic is injured. Typical fifa picking on the best players, but we have to make do without him now, which will be incredibly hard consideing his contributions so far. He has scored 10 goals in 10 games and been our main man. The next few months are going to be very tough, as we now need to find a goalscorer quickly.

Many thanks for reading. Any comments and suggestions are very welcome

I'd continue the Valencia career in that case. Also, I'm very confused. Bringing Hertha back crushed continuing the Valencia one in term of votes but when I asked if people would like to see it return it's very, very even. So you want the Hertha career to be brought back but you don't want it to be brought back at the same time? By the way, the result is tied at 4-4 right now. I guess I'll think about it and let the vote continue for a bit more.

Cool, I'm looking forward to this career! League 2 careers are always liked here and you can do great things with Shrewsbury. The decision about posting both careers at the same time is yours. I myself aren't able to do that.
