The only real "surprise" to me was that Dortmund finished fourth bottom one year. Other than that United/Arsenal/Citeh shared the BPL titles, Chelsea took the Capital One Cup almost every year, Bayern/Dortmund shared Bundesliga titles, Barca/Madrid took La Liga, PSG/Lyon split every title in Ligue One, with Lille slipping into second once. And Juventus/Inter/AC Milan took most of the Serie A titles. Udinese got relegated but was back up and recovered fine.

Hey, guys. There's a start-up league run using FM 2012 (we will upgrade eventually, but for season one we're going with that) that is created using created players and created clubs. We've got two clubs named right now with two more to come, and we're just twenty sign-ups short of having enough players to go ahead with our inaugural season. You guys can even apply to become a team owner if you put a bid in.

Would be much appreciated if you guys could at least take a look and consider signing up. Player activity is directly related to your player's skills—the more active you are, the better your player will be. If you are active on the forum and help with simulations and graphics and articles and the like, your player could be a superstar.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes a look or signs up. Also, if you do indeed sign-up, please mention that "Will" directed you to the site. I'll get an awesome boost in my ratings.

Re: ***The Official Football Manager Thread***

Just retired from FM13 after a 32 year career with Bristol City. I started on the beta and just carried straight through until last night.

Just had such a great time on this save, I had years of struggle where I nearly got sacked, years of domination and everything in between. I took City out of the Championship after 3 years and ended up with 14 PL titles, 4 CL titles, 8 League Cups, 7 FA Cups and 3 World Club Championships.

I also had success with England, in 12 years as manager I took home 2 Euros and a World Cup, my first WC win since FM2006. I also had a 2 year spell with France which I would rather forget!

My final season was a thing of beauty, I won the PL title with one game to spare thanks to Man U slipping up at home to Reading and in my last ever game before retirement I took on OM in the CL final. The best part was it was 20 years since my first CL win where I also played OM so it felt like I had gone full circle, I was surprisingly nervous but I was desperate not to retire on a defeat and I was delighted we came through with a 2-0 win.

I retired the next day and got the "The Greatest" trophy for topping the Hall of Fame, what a way to go out!

I've been playing FM a long, long time but this will rank as one of my best ever careers. I just had an absolute blast and can't wait to get started now on FM14 once the beta drops. I'm going to start unemployed this year with a Sunday League rep and just see where the game world takes me, can't wait!

FM14 Beta is out! I'll be starting yet another game with Portadown, although this time I'll be managing Northern Ireland (if I can, could do in 13) as well.

                      Let the games begin!

Now all I need to do is buy flowers for my wife to apologize in advance for ignoring chores and husband duty.

I'm in the process of copying over the 411,129 items in my fm2013 graphics folder to the fm2014. 10.5 GB isn't too bad.

Haven't been able to try it yet...is the steam workshop working already or are you just transferring files over from 13 that work in 14?

They keep database IDs the same from year to year, so everything should work.

Yeah. I just downloaded the new kits and updated my facepack. Everything else I just moved over. Just starting a new Arsenal save with pretty much every country selected lol. Hoping my new PC laptop can run it.

Has anyone had issues logging into twitter via FM? I can do it on my Mac, but not my PC
