I find that injuries can snowball if you play the wrong guys when they are a bit tired. Eventually you learn which ones you can push through that congestion and which ones can't handle it.
The biggest annoyance with the injuries was that Sturridge, Ramirez and Lampard all went out while out on International duty. I probably gave Essien too many minutes and it came back and bit me.

Now, you're right, fending off United is damn tough. At the same time I didn't take care of my own business. I had a 2-0 lead against City and right before the half a penalty gets awarded. Minutes later Terry goes down and my entire defense just collapses. It was interesting to see but also painful to watch as without Terry everything just collapsed and I ended up losing 3-2. The result of this was also Terry being done for the season. That followed by a 4-1 shocker to Liverpool and I found myself level on points with United. Also during the Liverpool loss I had a Wenger throwing the water bottle against the ground moment in my head. That's how mad I was at my virtual team. lol After this United took the #1 spot because of goal difference and I needed help. As much damaged as City and Liverpool did to my chances, they also helped. United drew 0-0 with City and Liverpool beat them 1-0. That followed by a 2-0 win over Stoke and I'm up 3 points with a couple games to go. At this point I'm absolutely ecstatic.

      My remaining schedule:
      Swansea
      @ Tottenham
      @ QPR

      United:
      Sunderland
      @ Tottenham
      @ Stoke

Tottenham will be tricky for both of us but I have Swansea and QPR which are bottom of the table. It will be interesting.

And now for the CL drama.

After getting by OM I found myself against Inter. Quickly took care of business at the San Siro by winning 4-1. Allowed me to play a lot of reserves and some youngsters in the second leg and drew 3-3 and 7-4 on agg. Goal was to reach the semi-finals and I knew it would be Barca time. Here is where the drama happens. After demolishing Bayern 13-1 on agg they lose to OL! Lampard comes back for me in the 2nd leg and in the final 20 minutes launches a 30 yard bomb and boom! I'm up and I end up winning on away goals. 2-2. Although in the final minute OL was awarded two penalty kicks.

That left United and City and ended in City winning 4-1 on agg. Now I'm in the final against City and still have to get 9 points in these next 3 league games. It will be an intense May. Fortunately Lampard is back and in form already, Ramirez is back and Sturridge is due back sometime this month.

Also I've been home sick today from work and all I did all day today was play this game. lol I'll probably finish the season tonight and just pass out.

Another Draw against one of the Big Clubs. This time I was up at the 93rd minute mark when Chicharito scored the equalizer on me.

Currently I set 18th and only 1 point from being clear of the Relegation Zone.

I didn't think I could go into Old Trafford and get 3 points, considering they are top of the league, but it would have been pretty nice.

I signed Steven Taylor from Newcastle to shore up the Defense. He wasn't getting much playing time at St. Jame's Park and was happy to join my Baggies Side.

Dude, i hope you beat out United for the title

My City save is getting to the business end so here's my update:

          Premier League:

The easiest competition thus far as I've won my last 15 on the trot and clinched the title with 5 games left to play. I have a 16 point lead on Man United who I beat to win the title so not too shabby. The only crappy thing is that because I'm still in the CL and FA Cup, I've had 2 days between matches which is completely ridiculous!!!!

          Champion's League:

I beat CSKA Moscow and got drawn against Napoli in the quarterfinals. To be honest, it wasn't that hard to beat them since Cavani missed the 1st leg. My semi-final opponent however was Bayern as they had dispatched Real Madrid in the round before. Thanks to some amazing goal keeping from Hart and some timely Aguero goals, I beat them 2-1 in Munich and came back from 2-1 down to score the decisive goal to send City to their 1st ever Champion's League Final.

My opponent for the CL final will be Man United who took out Arsenal in the other semi. I've beaten United 3 times already so a 4th is in the cards

          FA Cup

I was able to hold off a stout Chelsea 3-2 to advance to the final to play Fulham.

I've almost got a healthy team again as Clichy and Barry came back. However, Savic, who has been a pretty good player for me, tore his calf muscle and out for 6 weeks. Owen Hargreaves finally got hurt, but nothing too serious

            The EPL results:

            The CL Final:

            Chelsea finally have CL glory!

It wasn't the most entertaining of CL game from a neutral perspective I'd assume. I attacked for only about 20 minutes up until I got goal from a Lampard corner with Luiz. Up to the 60-70 mark I tried to play keep away from City. After that it was Mourinho tactic time by parking the bus. The game ended 1-0 and I was very happy with my defense since City were mostly limited to long distance bombs.

Overall a great start to my Chelsea career. I'm already probably the greatest Chelsea manager of all time since I've brought them CL glory. A tremble to start my career ain't too bad. Also my player of the year from my squad without doubt is Luiz. 11 goals, 51 appearances and absolute beast on the defensive side of the ball.

On a side note City had an odd season. They won the FA Cup again, got to the Final in the CL but only finished 5th in the EPL standings.

Also the summer will see some changes. I'm trying to bring Sniejder in. United are bidding as well. I worry about him with injuries but I believe I can limit those by properly watching his fitness level. I'm slowly constructing the Chelsea I want. Now I'm not too sure how Torres fits into the picture. I want to keep him because he does show signs of greatness but at the same time he shows sign of nothing or disaster. I've brought back Drogba for a few more years. He was absolutely dominating this year for me. Plus he's doing a great job of training his replacement Lukaku. Then there is Sturridge, Cavani, Mata, and Kakuka (which I like a lot). Then there is some younger strikers I have an eye out and Kalou which will be on loan for 2012-2013. Torres just seems the odd man out but we'll see. I might change his role to just rotation and see how he plays and responds. Anelka is going on a free transfer to Zenit and I'm trying to get rid of Malouda.

Nice season dude I'm on the verge of winning everything if I can beat Man U in the CL Final. I'm already on the club's favorites list but I will be an icon if I can take City to CL glory

Aguero and Rooney are tied with 38 goals apiece heading into the final day of the EPL

                Wooo!!!!

Aguero got the goal he needed to win the Golden Shoe beating Rooney by 1. I also took home the title of course.

The Champions League Final was exciting as Silva scored on a great free kick to give City an early lead. However, Clichy got sent off thanks to 2 soft fouls and we were playing with 10 men the rest of the way. United capitalized thanks to a Berbatov effort.

Silva scored again before half to give us the lead. In the 2nd half, I subbed out Balotelli to get Lescott back. However, Ashley Young broke free on a counter attack and scored to even things up

I thought the match was going into extra time when in the 87th minute, Aguero fires a screamer though De Gea and City are celebrating its first UCL Win!!!

Got the GB Olympic job and it's time for bed. Getting ready for bed and possibly get cracking on my Barca save.

I decided to start a save with Everton. Try and pull them out of their ridiculous loan debt by using youth and selling players when I have the chance to cash in on them.

I brought in Real Madrid for a preseason friendly which raised around 400k. I love that you have ways such as this to generate money for the club. Now it's off to France for preseason training and four friendlies, then back to Goodison park for the Chang Cup. Another way I'll be making some cash by bringing in some well known European sides.

My only goal for the first year is to establish some young players as real first team options and finish in the top half of the table. Long term goal is to upgrade Goodison Park, as it's in shambles and of course challenge for a CL spot.

Wow. What a list. A vast majority of players wouldn't ever notice, but they take care to fix it. You have to love this dev team's dedication to their game.

Sounds like a good challenge Kreb, hope to hear how you do on your Everton save.

And you guys were right about the game being addictive. Since I have been traveling a lot these past few days this has been all I have been playing. I currently am sitting in 3rd in my Feyenoord save with 9 points behind Ajax in the last week of January. My team has picked up some injuries during the past months but we have managed however all of my loses this season has come from teams that have been better than me. 2-0 loss to PSV, 4-0 loss to Ajax, 0-1 loss to AZ, and a 1-6 pounding from FC Groningen.

We have been on an excellent form the last two months and have been finding the back of the net more which is something we struggled with earlier in the season and have also reached the semi finals of the KNVB Beker which we ended up drawing Ajax, so I hope I can make it to the final. I have only made one purchase and sold a youngster to Real Betis for 1mil I am also trying to prep my self for next season as we lose two key players because were loaned to us, Bakaal and Guidetti.

However Chelsea and Man Utd. this Jan. transfer window has showed interested in my 19 year old youngster Bruno Martins Indi who has been in great form leading the league in tackles per game with 5.67 at LB position. He picked up a few injuries early on in the season but ever since he has come back to fill in for the my regular LB who broke his foot he has been great.

I recommend him to anyone to pick him up because he is pretty cheap before he starts developing. He his naturally a CB but plays at the LB position really well. Right now my team does need money so I am trying to decide if I should sell him I don't plan on selling him for no less than 6.5 mil at the moment but I'll see what happens because he has asked for a raise in his contract after the Man U and Chelsea offers. Fun game so far guys.
