Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
He started on Thursday and played the full game—he'll be starting most league games very soon. It's not like he wasn't used today, or three days ago.Last edited by Krebstar; 09-17-2017, 12:14 PM.Comment

I'm thrilled. Not only a point, but a solid performance. I don't feel that we escaped with a point, but instead came away from a tough away fixture with what we deserved.Comment

I think Arsenal should actually feel like they lost the points. I know that doesn't make a lot of sense considering it was away and all the drama coming in. But Arsenal were the better side and had a few chances they should have scored. They could have won this game.Current careers:

Considering our realistic target for this year fourth place, and our history at Stamford Bridge, this was a point won, not two points dropped. I think the context of this season, squad, and history of the fixture negates the context of the game itself. It's a performance we can build on going forward instead of wanting to forget.Comment

Missed the game while at church, came home to watch and accidentally saw the score. Pretty bummed as I was looking forward to it.
Kinda ok with it given I'm not spending my afternoon watching a scoreless draw.
Reading all your reactions, and I gather the team got on pretty well. So that's good to hear.
No Özil--interesting.
Sanchez benched--interesting.
Welbeck injured--shocker.
Hope it's not serious...

Also, it's quite the stretch to say Wenger doesn't want him to play a large part in the team in September.Support Local Sports

You guys need to settle down on all this positivity and "building going forward".
Pretty much guaranteeing yourselves an 0-1 to West Brom this weekend.Comment

I mean, that's guaranteed because of Pulis, literally nothing we do will change that.Support Local Sports

Should I have gone with "overconfident because of a good result vs a big team, so naturally an upcoming tonking by City is on the menu"?Comment

I feel fine, though, as I have no hope. I'm satisfied with how well we've played recently but still expect a collapse, as its inevitable.
Our realistic goal for this season is to finish fourth, and that's going to be very, very difficult. As of now, I still think we should get used to playing on Thursday nights.Comment

The one player you guys are missing the most in my opinion is Santi Cazorla. He's so good on the ball, keeping possession and seeing the long pass, leadership skills, etc. Such a shame he can't stay fit.Comment
