How bout the back to back saves by Steffen in goal, that even got us a chance. I am disappointed by 1st pk by Rubin, trying to be cute. Still a solid showing. I liked the hustle and some of the skill shown by Thomas and Sonora. Rubin bad match. Zelalam some flashes but gets pushed around to easy. Compared to Serbia we did look like kids. Looked like we were playing a senior team. [emoji6]

From my understanding that ref was pretty terrible that day. Not that it excuses Dempsey.MLB: Texas Rangers
Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
NCAA: SMU, UTA
NFL: Dallas Cowboys
NHL: Dallas Stars
NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Doesn't excuse Dempsey, but the officiating was very horrible.

Damn, was really hoping Morris would make it. He seems to have great vision and feel for space that you don't often see out of young American players. Was hoping to see more of what he can do.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 06-23-2015, 11:50 PM.Comment

Someone said on Facebook that the U.S. Should leave CONCACAF and join UEFA. He said it's an easier road to the WC.
Besides the fact we aren't in Europe this guy is nuts. There's no way UEFA is easier.MLB: Texas Rangers

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Well, there are way more WC qualification spots available in Europe, but being a top 10 UEFA team is slightly harder than beating out Jamaica, TnT and Canada, lol.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Whoever that person is has no idea what they're talking about. If you look at the pots for UEFA WC qualifying, you will see how preposterous that statement is since we'd be seeded in pot 3.Comment

re: Official USMNT/USWNT Thread
Would depend on the draw. Most those groups we would finish 2nd and get a decent home and home match up.
For what it's worth, Australia ain't in Asia and there are a few in UFEA and Asia that could go either way.

You rack up 4 home draws in any Euro group and you are dead.Comment
