Most of our athletes are used to extreme temps because of the weather variations here in the US. It’s Europeans, especially the Brits that start whining when the temps creep above 80 F or whatever the hell that is in Celsius

I also am very doubtful of the “hypothermia” diagnosis that two of the Honduras players got subbed off for. Playing for 45 minutes doesn’t drop your core body temperature enough for hypothermia to set in.

And he immediately scores. Have that

        I'll say it...

Central America has a grotesque soccer culture. It's consistently cynical in this regard, and CONCACAF couldn't care less.

I've always supported the USMNT responding in kind.

We know how that typically ends. Red card to the US player. I'm actually shocked Weah only got a yellow for kicking out at I believe it was Figueroa. After getting blatantly taken down at the top of the penalty area right in front of the ref without a call.

Had chances to get 3 points against Mexico, so in that vein, we did well getting a point at Azteca.

Magic number down to 4. A win against Panama Sunday will all but assure us qualification to Qatar.

We should have buried those two early chances.

I personally thought Mexico looked awful.

It's crazy to see just how far they've come.

I legitimately couldn't even tell you where some of the countries who used to be ahead of them are located (continent wise), that's how bad they were.

And then being able to qualify at home as well was the added bonus. Truly getting to celebrate with your own fans as if you just won a championship.

Epic first half by the US, and Panama got extra salty at the end of the half.

Luckily, they seemed to have calmed down, though I’m waiting for the CONCACAF BS to start up any minute now.

FILTHY nutmeg by Pulisic for the hat trick…now get him off the pitch.

Yedlin has had some impressively bad haircuts in his career. This has to be the worst.

Congrats USA. See you in Qatar

I thought the Mexican team was terrible in qualifying but in the end they lost out on first place just by goal differential.

We avoided disaster. That’s all you could ask for.

On to the Blood World Cup in November.

Why are the USMNT and El Salvador playing in a mud hole?

I’ve seen better looking cow pastures.

Edit: I don’t know who should start for the USMNT at keeper for the World Cup…but I know who shouldn’t.
