It's part of the game. He went for a punch and missed, and it certainly wasn't intentional.

      Never said it was intentional.

Keepers get away with too much under the guise of "going for the ball".

A keeper flying out with two fists with other players heads in the way isn't really much different from a two-footed tackle by a field player.

I'm more upset Arsenal got thumped 3-0. Nothing like building confidence in the upcoming season by getting dominated by one of the top teams in the league.

Not really sure why teams agree to derby games during preseason tbh.

Even if it's a friendly, the losing team will be more demoralized than a regular friendly, and the winning team will be more boosted than normal as well.

Seems an unnecessary risk, especially when it's a team you regularly lose to.

Yep, I'm sure Chelsea will be feeling pretty good going into the Community Shield match.

Totally uncalled for a friendly and to rub salt in the wound they called a foul on Pedro.

I'm really Ok with that depending on the price.

Fills the HG role from Chaloboah leaving
Pace in midfield (if he's deployed there)
                    A very direct player
Cover at multiple positions (MF, Wingback)
And it trolls Arsenal a lil which is always cool

I'd imagine his real value ~20mil £ but with that homegrown/EPL inflation it would take it up to ~30£ which tbh, is the going rate for these days for quality depth.

He's actually skilled enough to replace Moses at RWB if Conte can work the same kind of magic with him.

For 20-30m I'm fine with taking a small gamble on an Ox or Traore or something and seeing if Conte can do things again. If it works, we look like geniuses, if it doesn't then we just keep using Moses.

We were half kids/reserves, half regular starters. He also shoved the lot of them outof position. It's pre-season friendlies 7556566 miles from home. Nobody gives a **** about them, derby or not. Priority is building fitness. If we get trashed in the community shield, then you have the right to be upset.

Enjoy the Ox, he's the definition of both mediocre and inconsistent.

In order to be inconsistent there has to be flashes of good!

In all seriousness, we played a strong side. Should have been more than 3-0 but I'm not taking too much away from it other than individual performances of our squad.

I mean, people would have said that about Moses before last season.

Ox has a much higher season than Moses, so if Conte can actually get something out of him then sweet, if not then Moses keeps starting.

Haha, good one. He has flashes of great but he seems to lack the focus of finishing it off with a goal or a key pass which is, extremely frustrating. He's the type to jet past your entire team and then he loses the plot. He did seem better at RWB than RW TBH. Poor decision making is his biggest flaw right now. He also shows up in big games and goes missing in easier games because he seems to think he's 3 times the player his opponents are. It can be fixed or improved upon but it'll take time and I'm not sure Chelsea is the right club for him right now. This is all just an opinion, the guy could move to Chelsea and absolutely explode thus proving me wrong but that's the beauty of football, nothing is set in stone.

Most of your fans seemed pretty satisfied with him at RWB.

Anyway, we are playing in the CL so I'll take a player that only shows up in big games. We have plenty of players that can put down the lesser teams, we aren't Arsenal.
