What a strange year. That’s saying a lot considering we’ve had a bunch of strange years.

Top 4 is going to be tough, same with City this weekend in the Cup, but I’m fairly confident with drawing Real. Reece is going to have to put in a shift against Vinicius though. I hope Kovacic is back by then. We’re going to need him.

Tuchel has completely turned you guys around. The talent was always there, Lampard just wasn't the right man for it. I think you finish 3rd, West Ham have a lot of big injuries to deal with and I can see Leicester falling apart like last season.

Liverpool and Chelsea finishing in the top 4 is my guess.

West Ham will be a big match for sure, our remaining schedule isn't entirely ideal compared to some of the other top 4 hopefuls especially West Ham.

Little sad Frank wasn't ready yet for the Chelsea job but if you are a Chelsea fan long enough you just sort of get used to keeping your attachment to any given manager at arms-length. If Frank continues managing he will be back for sure, he isn't a bad manager, just very raw and inexperienced.

He did give us a ton of progress with our youth players though, and gave us the gifts that are Mason Mount and Reese James so there's that.

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***

Tuchel has given us a better structure. Part of that comes with commitment to a specific formation but also from coaching and setting expectations. When things went bad for Frank we fell apart structurally and looked disjointed which is why we were leaking so many goals.

Tuchel’s sacrificed an attacking player where as Frank probably felt the pressure to play a little more attractive style.

Like Brahv said, as a Chelsea fan you don’t get attached to managers. They come...they go [emoji2375]

According to Matt Law us and City were told late last week about this and were basically forced to adapt or get left behind.

Chelsea used to be the club with no history who was ruining football.

Fast forward a few years and Chelsea is a club with history and they saved football.

Really feels like we are trying too hard to shoehorn Havertz and Werner into the team sometimes.

I do feel bad for Werner because he seems like a nice guy and he does try his best, but he just isn't cutting it atm.

Havertz I think will pay off in the long run.

Still have to be happy with a draw and a road goal though. [emoji846]

Agree but the thing with Timo is that he still contributes despite being awfully off-form in front of goal. His run today off Varane's shoulder opened up the space for Pulisic to run in behind Nacho. His pace changes the way teams defend us and opens up space underneath for Pulisic, Mason, etc...

I just wish we'd release him more often and use his pace. If anything, just to make CBs drop a step or two deeper.

But yeah...it would be nice for him to put home some more chances. We'd probably be 2nd comfortably if he brought his finishing boots from Germany.
