Being born and raised in NC I can tell you that you are dead wrong. NC State fans live and breathe basketball and NC State in general.

        You sound like a fool/troll.

lol no sir you do. They live and breathe football and they are the most consistent football program in the state, but they are the biggest joke when it comes to basketball and state fans know this and they never deny that ever.

For the past few years I have enjoyed the best that the Premier League has to offer. I still have a soft spot for Liverpool, having to share in the pain of Tom Hicks and all. Unlike XXSportmmXX however, I don't go from one place to another; I just enjoy the games as they are presented.

I've been having too much fun watching these games from last year on NBCSN. Can Aug. 16 get here any faster?

ESPN3 has been running all the preseason tourneys. I just finished watching Arsenal-Monaco. Schalke-Newcastle, too.

New rule starting this year—any player who loses consciousness during a game will not be allowed to continue.

Good. If you get knocked out, you should not be jogging back onto the field a few minutes later.

Players who lose consciousness in top-flight matches next season will not be allowed to return to the field of play

If they are going to force players off, replacing them should not count as a substitute.

If this is going to work, I think this would be a good way to implement it:

                            1) The doctors administering the tests should be independent of any club affiliation.
                            2) If a player is deemed unfit to play by the independent doctor, replacing them does not count as one of your 3 subs.
                            3) Increase the the allowed bench players to 8.

And allow a temporary substitution while the player is being checked out. A team shouldn't be punished because they're being cautious about a head injury.

While I agree in principle, that seems waaaaaaaaaaay too exploitable.
