    Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread

Idk...I don’t think Poch or Levy should have done a full rebuild with the squad they have. They’re core ...Kane, Son, Lloris, etc... are all in their prime. Rebuilding isn’t as easy as FIFA makes it out to be. I think they would have been closer to a trophy had they actually added some decent CBs, a backup ST, and moved on some dead weight like Winks, Sissoko, etc...

If you’re going to hire Mourinho go out get the vets and experienced players he likes to work with. There’s too much $ at stake in this league, especially when you cancel out a full year of no crowds. If you wanna keep your world class players happy you’d better surround them with talent and show ambition. It’s a miracle Hazard stayed as long as he did at Chelsea considering some of the crap we surrounded him with.

Madrid need to send him back.

It's pretty clear by now that Chelsea is the only club that understands how to implement the kind of training program he needs in order to maintain a healthy and sustainable cheeseburger consumption rate without having a lasting impact on overall performance and fitness.

Let’s not let all this Spurs drama distract us from the fact that Everton were in prime position with games in hand and have come up with 2 points from 4 matches to pretty much fully squander their advantage.

Hey, if you would have told me before the season that Everton would be the same cluster as Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal, I would have taken it. Unfortunately that means being outside the top 5 this year.

Same with Spurs and Liverpool. I just wouldn’t have thought Liverpool would be this bad this year.

This is just how they live.

Tbh this applies to Spurs as well.

I feel like you could say this about every team that finishes 5-9 this season. It feels like at one point or another 7-8 teams have been at the top or in the top four for a bit and blew it.

                  Expect Arsenal.

My thought on Ole's Son thoughts are that Ole can go **** himself.

Yes, Sol threw an elbow, but it only connected with Ole's hand. Replay at the end, slow it down yourself). Didn't stop him from selling it like death, though.

I have been seeing this pop up a lot the past few days. Only time Arsenal fans have ever "defended" a Spurs player. I love the hate Ole is getting, the longer he is in the position the more full of himself he has become.

Oh for sure. I'm not even surprised anymore when we blow our chances at gaining points on rivals, advancing in cups or when we lose to unknown teams in Europe.

Lol I was just being a little ****.

Tbh I think you are the only kind of Spurs fan that could exist on a forum like this rofl.

we had that other Spurs fan for awhile, but they were very combative

and that Leicester fan that was confrontational.

I'll never forget reading that Robert Huth and Wes Morgan were a "World Class" starting CB pair.

haha years ago I was a **** on forums but I learned to realize it's all in good fun now. Plus, as a Spurs fan it's pretty hard to deny the fact we are absolute bottlers all the time. Still love them but will never have faith in winning a big match.
