Re: M19 1985 Season Roster PS4

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

I have not forgotten about the roster, I am still working on it whenever I have time. Unfortunately, I just have not had much time recently.

However, I have all of the NFC East teams renamed, and I am now working through ratings and equipment. I am hoping I can post a roster update with the NFC on Monday or Tuesday. Then I will start work on the NFC Central.

As for future rosters for Madden 19, I am not sure yet. I was originally thinking 1991, but I am not sure.
Since there is full editing now I might make an earlier roster from the 60s or 70s. But I really do not know at this point.
Cool. I’d love a 60s or 70s roster. I still play Madden 17 to use the 1975 rosters. Good Luck!

I am slowly doing the 1970 roster set but it will take some time...

Sounds awesome. I will humbly voice my request for either 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975 or 1978 or 1979.

Re: M19 1985 Season Roster PS4

The new update is now live!

The NFC East is finished. Cowboys, Giants, Redskins, Eagles, and Cardinals!

Please take a look at the roster and see how it plays with these teams.

Next up...NFC Central... Yes, that means Da' Bears!

Re: M19 1985 Season Roster PS4

Just played the Giants (me) v. Redskins (CPU)
Final Score 26-21 Giants

TOff: G:319 R: 419
Rush: G: 128 R: 93
Pass: G: 191 R: 326
FD: G: 11 R: 17
TO: G:0 R: 2
Pen: G: 5-31 R: 5-40

Passing
G: Simms: 14-26, 53%, 202yrds, 1TD, 0 INT
R: Theismann: 24-46, 52% 372yds, 2TD, 1INT

Rushing
G: Joe Morris: 19-103-5.4
George Adams: 6-10-1.6
Rob Carpenter: 3-17-5.6

R:John Riggins: 15-67-4.4
Keith Griffin: 5-26-5.2

The Redskins fell behind early and gave up on the run in the second half. Riggins had some nice carries in the first half though. I have 7 sacks on Thiesmann. The Redskins got a lot of pressure on me but only had 2 sacks.

Overall it was a good game. I would like to see less passing, but there is little that can be done there. The CPU loses all sense of a balanced attack once it falls behind.

Side note: I noticed Mark Moseley's equipment is wrong, so I will fix that and repost the roster.

Re: M19 1985 Season Roster PS4

Only had time to play half of a game...Tried using A&S Sliders, but I don't like the way these rosters play with them but suffered through...Saw way too many dropped passes and the run blocking is pretty atrocious, so I'm going to have to figure out something new as A&S plays great with IMac's edited rosters.

NYG: 12 (Safety, TD, FG)
NE: 7 (TD)

Passing:
Sims: 9/20 - 120yds - 1 TD - 1 INT
Eason: 9/17 - 112yds - 1 TD - 1 INT

Rushing:
James (NE): 13 - 34
Morris (NYG): 9 - 28
Adams (NYG): 7 - 7
Collins (NE): 3 - 26
Sims (NYG): 3 - 16

Here is the set-up I am using currently:
Skill: All-Pro
Quarter: 15 min
Play clock: 15 sec
Game Speed: Normal
Fatigue: 50
Injuries: 10
Speed Parity: 50

Penalties:
Offsides: 80
False Start: 60
OHld: 80
DefHld: 65
Face Mask: 55
Block in the Back: 50
Roughing: 50
DPass Int: 65

Skills User/ CPU
QBA: 50/50
Pass Block: 60/50
WR Catch: 50/50
Run Block: 75/75
Rum: 50/50
Reaction Time: 50/50
Int: 35/35
Pass Cov: 50/50
Tackling: 50/50
All kicking sliders 50/50

I still make some adjustments but these are working for me at the moment.
The CPU has been inconsistent with running, but in every game or partial game I have played, the CPU has been able to run.

WR drops are there, but I have found them to be pretty good based on the interaction on the field.

Overall, I have been very happy with the way the sliders and roster plays. But, it is only me and a small sample size. I also recommend using the Baltimore Ravens playbook for offense for everyone right now. It general gives a decent run/pass ratio. For defense, I recommend using the Chiefs for 3-4 teams and the Falcons for 4-3 teams.

I will do more in-depth playbook study later, but that is what I have been using so far.

I hope that helps.
