wondering how these will work on all madden. just beat the falcons 56-24 hitting 70 plays myself with the falcons running about 45. had the accelerated clock set to 12 seconds.
funny thing was the falcons numbers looked great sim wise with matt ryan going 27/36 for just over 300 with 3 tds and 1 int and their running back had about 80 yards on 20 carries
the eagles however (me) bradford had about 300 yards in the first half and then murray had 140 yards on 18 carries and matthews had 130 in 15 carries. no big runs just 6-8 yard chunks every time
gonna drop run blocking down to about 40 for the user and see if that helps. and will probably put the threshold back to 50 or slightly higher to help the defenses closing speed.
Hi there, thanks for putting these sliders together, definitely a great starting point.
I'm on week 6 of my franchise mode with the Rams. After going 1-3 in the preseason losing some close games, I'm now 4-1 in the regular season. The preseason games were great, very evenly matched, and at times my 2nd team offense couldn't do anything but lose yards against the opponent. However, in the regular season, I've steamrolled teams like the Packers (91 OVR) 41-21 and Steelers (89 OVR) 29-7 with my 84 OVR Rams. The only game that's been decided by less than 7 points was my loss which came to the Redskins, who surprisingly are still undefeated at 5-0. I'm wondering if I need to adjust player skill sliders down a couple notches and CPU slider up a couple notches maybe? It feels kind of cheap dominating some of these teams with a pretty average Rams team. I don't want to wind up going 13-3 and making it to the conference final already in my first season. I may give this a shot, but my next match is against the 0-6 Browns, so it might not be a great test.
Otherwise, the stats have been pretty realistic. Penalty yards have been 40-80 per game. The CPU has a hard time running the ball against me; I have the #1 rush defense in the league only giving up around 325 yards through 5 games despite facing Lynch, Lacy, and Bell. I did drop the INTs down to 40 like someone else on this thread mentioned since they still felt a little too frequent for both sides.
Thank you for taking the time to make these. Just played my first pre-season game and thought I'd share the results in case it might help. I only played on 11 min. quarters, I'll probably up that for the next game. Game was really close and I had a great time with these sliders. Only issue I had, as you can probably see in the stats, is CPU run game was almost non-existent. I read earlier in the thread that someone moved tackling down to 48, I am going to try this for my next game to see if it helps. Thank you again!
Liking what I'm seeing here. Whenever I'm grinding out slides I try to stay as close to default as possible. I've noticed that drastic changes to slides (particularly in Madden) almost completely eliminate the affect of players attributes which causes a lot of repetitive scenarios game to game. I'll be keeping up with this thread and posting box scores. Btw, I'm a little concerned with player XP progression affecting slider adjustments? If this is true, I hope it's something that EA has noticed and will address with the upcoming patch.

13 rush yards? That's a red flag. Something needs tweaking.
