Re: Tommycoa’s CPU vs CPU Sliders

Funny update to Browns/Steelers... after 1 Browns lead 7-3. At least there’s a good bit of variety built into this set

I thought the game played well.... but I’m not sure enough passes are going to the wideouts. I feel like the TEs are eating a lot of WR targets... or the QB is just locked to the middle of the field. Not sure if that’s a slider thing or what

You want get the same kind of action with Pitt, NE, NO, GB, ATL with generic books. It’s best to use custom books. I also use custom book for patriots defense.

Box score looks good, minus the qb runs. Are these with qbs edited or straight default?

Testing the qb schemes now. WEST COAST in coaches QB scheme seems to get players to play more to ratings. If they have a strong arm, they’ll throw it down field like like their playing the Air Coryell offense. Loving all these boxscores. Keep them coming.

Brown only getting 2 catches...there’s plays in the default book that get him the ball, but the default books call too many shotplays. That’s why i used vanwolfhawk’s customs for the teams I listed. These teams offenses are more unique than other teams. With the exception of ATL, the other coaches have been around for quite a while and ea has those books figured better.

Re: Tommycoa’s CPU vs CPU Sliders

Guys, im not seeing the same games as prepatch. All of mine have been blowouts. Not bad blowouts, 21 point games that are close until one team collapses in the third quarter.

Wasn’t seeing this at all prepatch.

When you post boxscores, please tell me if you’re using default books, custom books, or generic books. It makes a big difference. Also mention if your doing qb edits or scheme edits. This stuff is huge. This may be why you see an overuse of TE.

Now ive seen games where Kelce starts of 4-75 first quarter. And they hold him for 2-15 he rest of the game. Someteams gameplan their tes more than others. Even post patch, im not seeing TEs get too many catches. Been a while since i seen it.

Really wish you could have seen these things prepatch. Trying to get it back there. May not get as many games in because my wife’s finally getting aggravated. She’s cool with me doing this stuff, it’s just, this is all ive been doing for a month.

A week break may do me good. I’m gonna watch a couple tonight, see what happens, if it doesn’t look better, i’ll Break from playing, but still visit here and look at your testing.

I know these schemes, playbook edits, qb edits are a pain. But sliders only cover so much. Think of schemes and playbooks as the AI end and the sliders as the gameplay end.

Later guys.

Re: Tommycoa’s CPU vs CPU Sliders

Games playing way better. I’ll post some slight updates after a few more games. It’s looking and playing and feeling like it did before last patch.

Chiefs/pats game on twitch was sloppy with turnovers, but it was a good game. Bills/Jets game on now, looks even better with slight slider tweaks.

Re: Tommycoa’s CPU vs CPU Sliders

Later today or tomorrow, I’ll twitch the exact setup I’m using. Trying to tweak sacks. Want to watch a few more, feels like it did prepatch. By that, I mean, the game feels like a chess match. Nice seeing people that don’t post much.

Do me a favor when you post boxscores, add up the TFLs and sacks for both teams and post them too. That’s the only thing wrong right now.
