They did release the change in the patch notes its just kinda thrown in the statement and hard to catch.

I found it.

DEV NOTE: To address a common piece of feedback from our community about slower players being too successful at chasing down faster players in the open field, we have stretched out the “Player Speed Parity Scale” to increase the discrepancy between players of different speeds. The scale has been expanded to almost double its default value. The goal of this tuning is make a 5-point difference in Speed feel more like a 10-point difference. If you have been playing on the default value already and would like to continue playing on that value, simply reset this value to 75 instead of 50 via the Gameplay Settings menu. However, the new value will be the default setting for online play

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

Playing my first game since the patch, I left everything where I had it except move my parity scale.

So far losing 21-3 at the half to the titans, mariota is 16/17 for 170 on passing, majority of his throws are all dink passes that happen to sometimes break tackles for a good gain. I’m getting shut out on offense, mainly no pass blocking at all. So some tweaks I need to make for sure

Btw has anyone been noticing the cpu throwing a lot of conservative throws? Like dink and dunk kind of thing, I noticed it before the patch a bit also

I’m seeing good variety in passing still.
Depends on time in pocket, coverage, accuracy slider, and play call though so it’s not easy to get all that right.
Easiest fix is to increase pass blocking very slightly which is what I’ve done recently, since I user DLine and have a pretty stacked line it’s a necessity, YMMV though.

Right now I’m messing around with parity. I can say 65 seems too low with this set, guys getting very open especially against man, and 70 is about the same as before but I do actually want the slightest degree more of separation from the faster guys. Trying 68 now.

It’s still Version 17 at the moment, just adjust your speed threshold to the new scale that was just posted in this thread. I believe it needs to be at 70

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

So the new speed parity number we should be using is 70?

Haven't had a chance (out of town) to test, but will be back tonight to take a look at everything.

Re: Matt10's Madden 19 Sliders

We've left everything as is in my CFM and every user has had good games. I don't think the scale needs to be adjusted from what it was before the patch.
