It doesnt happen all the time but when it does its annoying

Should i move pass blocking up?

I am pretty advanced as a player and love the coach mode strategy.

I often play the offense side of the ball only since it boosts the AI to stop my offense because when i am on defense the game plays too conservative for me.

I appreciate your feedback

If you want to play on All-Madden, I encourage you to increase Pass Blocking and/or WR Catch. But I would only increase by 1 - 2 ticks for each slider for test game. Monitor what you’re seeing and make adjustments accordingly. I would also encourage you to consider raising the penalty slider for Roughing The Passer by increments of 5 (at first) and then by increments of 1 until you see the desired results.

I don’t play on AM in Coach Mode because it provides too much of a boost to the CPU. Having said that, you may try a base slider set of +2 User and -2 CPU across the board to all offensive/defensive sliders to offset the CPU boost.

Re: Matt10's Madden 20 Sliders

Okay, I'm trying my best, but I have a few grips.

The Defense doesn't allow my receivers to get any separation. I tried bumping up the fatigue, but he DB and other defenders are right on top of me. My receivers are still dropping passes, and I cranked the WR catch to 54. The QB is too accurate. The last aborted game had the Det QB make 9/11. I was picked off 3 times, but my defense didn't force a single turnover.

I would like to know how to fix this.

All Pro or All Madden?

And the CPU QB will light you up if you don't strategically make them make mistakes.

Mix up your blitzes and coverages, and call defensive plays based on the situation.

Know the right time for a Cover 2 or a Cover 3. The right time to press vs back off when in man, and play to your strengths.

Does your team have better man or zone corners? Are your safeties better over the top in coverage or underneath laying big hits on crossers?

And user, user, user.

Use your MLB or a safety coming down in coverage to take away the middle of the field. Keep an eye on the TE and receivers on dig routes and posts. Make the QB throw outside the numbers.

Here's my user strategy depending on play call

Cover 2 (Zone) - User MLB and work deep middle to down. Don't let anyone in the seam between the two deep safeties. If you have to give up something, give up something underneath you, and come down and make a play on it. My stick skills are at best a 6/10, but with just a little practice, you can own the middle of the field with your MLB.

Cover 3 - User the Safety that's playing the underneath zone. One safety will play a deep blue, but the other will play down. You take that one, and cover anyone trying to cross in front of the safety covering deep middle. My general rule is glance at the TE first, then to crossing WR's.

Cover 1 Man - Dealer's choice here, usually I use the safety to cover the middle of the field, and make sure nothing gets past me, and anything that happens underneath is contained. When playing teams with particularly active TE's (Colts, Chiefs, 49ers, Giants among others) sometimes I'll user whomever (LB/S/CB) is manned up on the TE to take him away and force the QB to throw elsewhere.

Cover Zero (all out blitz) - Another dealer's choice. My faith in the blitz makes the decision for me. If I feel I'm going to get good pressure, I cover the TE, as that is most QB's safety valve (quick and over the middle). If I look at the offense and I think they might be able to pick it up, I'll usually look to cover their best deep threat to avoid giving up a bomb.

The #1 way to force the CPU QB into mistakes is by taking away easy throws. The worst NFL QB's can throw a laser accurate 10 yard hitch or dig or slant. You have to make them make harder throws. Not that he's a "bad QB" but Jacoby Brissett will light you up if you give him easy throws over the middle to Jack Doyle all day.

I guess that was a super long winded way to say 'Take away the easy stuff and you'll see the CPU QB make significantly more mistakes.'

I'm going to play a couple games tonight, I'll record a couple examples of me usering the middle to force the CPU QB into mistakes.

Since I mentioned the Colts and Jacoby Brissett lighting you up if you don't take away the middle off the field and easy throws, I thought I'd use them as an example.

I played as the Bengals.

The first play is a man blitz, but I wasn't sure I was going to get pressure, and not wanting to give up a bomb, I used my safety to double Hilton. Brissett tried to force it to T.Y. anyway, resulting in an incomplete pass, and nearly an interception.

The rest of the clips are just me usering a player and shutting down the middle of the field, and specifically looking to lock down Jack Doyle or crossing routes. You'll see Brissett have to look elsewhere and make tougher throws, leading to incomplete passes.

I was up late in the 3rd and 4th so the Colts threw every down basically, which is why he had so many attempts and yards, but you can see the percentage and YPA are about spot on.

I hope this helps, even just a little.

Re: Matt10's Madden 20 Sliders

This must be some weird bug but since adjusting my user league to the 1 injury in MM we now have no injuries in the league through 4 weeks and no simmed injuries. So annoying because the games have all been playing better but depth and injuries are what make this league more fun. Frustrated

Re: Matt10's Madden 20 Sliders

Lol this game has become so unrealistic could be sliders or the game itself, Robo QB is still pretty much present every game could be due to virtually no pressure I can get and I have a stacked D line, the CPU WR have a huge boost rating in speed which, my secondary just acts like they are in a deep sleep and let’s everything be caught then decide hey let’s tackle, I make adjustments and stop same results, 9-10 INT is with no pressure and my WR is wide open but the ball goes right to the other team, just doesn’t make sense
