Madden NFL 23 Impressions | PS5, XSX / XSS

So just hear me out. I absolutely hate the negativity of madden video games. Yes it’s not perfect yes it’s glitchy yes everyone has their own experiences. I absolutely love the madden nfl franchise and I love playing madden 23. The only real problems I have is that it’s way too glitchy for me. They fix the glitches especially in franchise mode than ok. But other than that I have no real problems. My other 2 bullet points for madden to get better are

1. Get rid of the frostbite engine entirely.


2. This is going to suck for people who still have a hard time buying next gen consoles but madden needs to focus solely on next gen for next year. I feel maybe that’s the other main reason for why madden isn’t great.

Game in unplayable for franchise until the interception issue is fixed. Would like the penalty sliders to work as well but I’ll take what I can get at this point. I feel like EA hustled me.

It baffles my mind that they haven't added an option to turn momentum off. I personally like the feature but I can't stand all the pop ups presnap. The game has potential every year but there are always immersion killing elements that ruin the experience for me.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't have an int issue for user QB play. I played on Default all Madden, threw 49tds:13ints with Baker in year 2. And no, I don't call the same plays, I use cool down feature, 10 plays between repeat, no more than 4 uses of the same play.

I’m glad it works for you or you are probably just better at the game than me. Regardless, if I paid 70 dollars the sliders should work. I’m in a position where all pro is too easy even with buffed sliders for the CP. The CP QB still makes awful decisions.

Got hit with the cloud draft bug. Glitched in the 4th rd wouldn’t let me pick or skip ahead. But saw some nice things from CPU team management. Saw several coordinators get hired as head coaches. Saw 6 teams use the franchise tags. There were a few high value FAs but not anyone who wasn’t explainable. I really like how the new FA system works.

Guess I’ll start my keeper offline CFM. Feeling confident that I can do it without 32 team control. Just need to figure out a dev trait system for CPU teams to replicate breakout games.

what about the CPU ints??? thats the real problem, not the user ints

The interceptions slider works for me; most of the would be picks are now drops.
