Not sure where to post this tbh but. Anyone else notice that HB screen passes basically cannot be completed? I swear it feels like a lot of the time the RB gets caught up ramming into his linemen, and never gets open.

Yes, I have this issue on about half the screens I call. Most plays I only get 3-5 yards with the occasional 8-10 yarder. I will say it's better than the last few years where I feel the screen wasn't even worth calling.

Also. I still hate this tackle battle mini game. In another thread someone told me it was optional, just don’t press A. So I’ve stopped, except that sometimes they still don’t go down right away, still has weird animations where they kind of hug and during that time I notice that if someone else comes in for the tackle, fumbles seem to skyrocket. I had 3 in one game by Christian McCaffrey and all 3 came from these tackle battles. I never touched a button, hoping he would just get brought down immediately. But no dice.

Well if that was me (might’ve been) I said to hold R1 instead, not do nothing.

What I said the last time I posted on this was that it’s not a command, it’s a just prompt telling you something like “hey, a broken tackle is possible here,” so if you’re mashing that button on those plays you’re actually being really aggressive and taking a huge risk.

Sorry to inform you but if you've been playing any Madden in the last, say, forever years, HB screen have been broken. It's various types of brokenness with HB screens. Random brokenness. And just plain brokenness.

I’ve probably played 50 games on 10 minute quarters and haven’t seen one.
