Madden 23 Franchise Glitches- Tests, Workarounds ETC

The franchise delete bug is alive and well even with 32 team control.

I created a new league and made 32 custom coaches so everyone would start at the same level. Thought it would be fun to check the coach records later as a total view of the league in my time with it.

Decided to do a test after setting it all up. Simmed 10 years, played super bowl, booted to xbox dashboard, file dead.

I’ve reached a new low point in this game.

Just setup another 32 team franchise. Used all standard coaches this time. The save was STILL corrupted and dead after a 10 year/play the superbowl test.

I don’t even know what to do now.

Was coach firing turned off?

Yep. Coach firing off, 32 team control (all coaches), all set to auto for everything. It happens every single time I try it now. Right after the patch, I was even able to get through 10 years as a solo coach test.

Two days ago, I tested 32 team to verify it would work. It did. Then I created a league of 32 new custom coaches. Tested, and ended up with the bug. Now, every test I do gets this same franchise crash. It’s like once it appeared, it just embedded itself into my system.

knock on wood but I did 3 years of a solo franchise online and onto year 2 of a new solo franchise online with no issues. So from my end no complaints.

That's good news actually.

I have yet to truly test the draft with in draft trades, but I always don't want to jynx my progress. I think I will just do all trades pre-draft, and force myself to take a player even if I don't want too vs trading down.

If you further test, let us know what you came up with. So far this is the only post I have seen where 32 team control inherited the glitch.

I think I figured it out. I have to create the other 31 users immediately after starting the franchise.

I was running both of those failed tests off a week 1 franchise where I had already played a game.

I was able to successfully do 2 different 15 year tests last night as long as I take control of all teams was the very first step to setting things up.
