No way an EA employee would talk like that if there was still an exclusive deal. He would just confirm that the license was exclusive and keep it moving. Thats what theyve done in the past.
Exactly my thoughts. The way Rex was talking seemed as if 2K slapped his momma 2 times. We will see how this pans out.

Overall. The video of gameplay looked good. A few things that I noticed.

1. On the the screen pass in the 49ers video, when the back is running up the field, you can can see guys on the sideline jumping up and down with excitement.

2. The sidelines are much more animated with more camera men and players and coaches.

3. Visuals are def better. Sort of on pace with last years E3 trailer. In the steelers video wher Miller catches the touchdown . If you look at his sleeves and see the detail in how the fabric stretches is amazing.

4. When RG3 is walking to the line if scrimmage, the animations are more realistic with more fluidity. Even the WR have more animation at the line if scrimmage.

5. Def like the real time celebrations. I also like it not only with the players, but with the officials as well.

Overall I felt I didn't have to look to hard to see the differences from madden 25 to madden 15. Which is a good thing considering this was not the case last year ....😉

Rain just means bring a pancho (or get one at the game), not "Oh! It's raining! We can't go, I'll prune!!"

Love that new camera angle. It gives the game a fresh look and highlights the graphics.

You said this Last year. And so far all we've got is..

The return of jump the snap.
Better presentation. (2K already had this)
A band aid on cover 2 defense
Continued herky jerky animations
Tethered passing.
Bland commentary that JUST now started saying player names
3d grass. And a horrible attempt at living worlds.

I get that you want to be an EA game changer. But eh...

If you want to discuss Madden vs 2K with respect to that Rex Dickson interview, please move that discussion to the Other Football forum with that video in the topic post.

Thanks.
Just saw this post. I'm done with the 2k talk.

Was this still happening in next gen? If thats true, thats pathetic. NFL fans dont stay home just because its raining.

No. On madden 25 every game was like the superbowl. Even preseason.
