Why can't madden bring back franchise?

I do miss the old madden's franchise mode when you had your weekly radio station with newspaper clips of teams from around the league. Plus you were able to control everyone on your team.

And then Live decides it doesn't even care about their "franchise" mode. Whenever I feel the itch for the old franchise mode, I power on my PS2 and plop in 05. I like the CFM just as much as the old franchise mode.

But to decide not to purchase a PS4 because of one game not giving you the feature you want?

I just miss Franchise mode from the PS2 days. I don't remember if they ever completely brought everything back on last gen but I remember how confused I was when I couldn't edit people or do fantasy drafts on PS3. Madden really looks to be improving now (and Madden 25 proves that for me) so I'm excited for the future

I just don't get what the difference is between Franchise MOde and CFM if you play as a coach/owner, oh well.

I understand your frustrations (we would all love the ability to have more customization) but it would be redundant for EA to do this as CFM is Franchise mode, it just has a different name. It would just take man hours away from actually improving CFM.

Not saying I am not buying a ps4, just not when madden is coming out. Probably wait till nba2k15.
