I think others are right about reading between the lines. It's not like this dev team to not own some part of their game, and they seem curiously quiet on Longshot.

So its not just me then? We don't actually know what you "do" in this mode. Is there "gameplay"? Mini games? Text based with cut scenes?

I am starting to think that was not supposed to be released to the public today.

Gotta be horrible to be Clint or Rex right now, they probably want to strangle the marketing team for this strategy. Instead they're chucked under the bus to face the brunt of the vitriol on Twitter that should be aimed at marketing geniuses.

Like Clint and Rex the marketing team is just doing its job. It's the EA suits who I'm sure are behind Longshot. And of course marketing is going to lead with that bc it sounds better and flashier than "fixed legacy issues" or "minimal CFM upgrades"
