If all this works (and doesn't break anything else)...this is good stuff as far as gameplay is concerned. Only really noticeable omission is the wind/kicking game, which can still be somewhat worked around with supersim at least.

"Tuned to decrease defensive coverage ‘break-on-ball’ reactions in All-Madden Simulation Game style"

Could someone please elaborate what this means exactly?

I saw this one too and have questions. To me it makes me believe zones will be weaker since they will be delayed more now than before to when they react. Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but that's my take

I always assumed "break on ball" to mean the instant a defender switches directions in an attempt to swat away or intercept a ball. That is to say... the instant a defender decides to "break towards" a ball that is sailing through the air. So if they tuned that reaction down, that means defenders are slightly worse at reacting in that instant.

Anyone else interpret that the same way?

So I guess if I am reading this right, it means defenders were tuned to react a little less quickly when a ball is thrown in Simulation Mode on All-Madden Difficulty. All other modes were left the same.

Re: New Madden NFL 18 Title Update Available Now - Patch Notes Here

Addressed an issue where defenders didn’t react to scramblers on fake kick plays when in a non-kick block type defense

But did not fix where defenders ( cpu ones) do not react very fast at all to a qb on a scramble and breaks line of scrimmage....

Tuned to improve tackling ball-carriers during broken tackle animations

but not word about the OP spin and jukes you cant hardly tackle....

Happy for those of you who just play offline, if the qb scrambling AI is better. Congrats on that. But man as an online player, ive not seen 90 % of these issues before in this patch. Things i really hoped some tuning was done on , not a thing touched. Not to mention the lag on ps4 cfm. Eventhough i dont have it ( as i have a ps4 pro) it still sucks for everyone who does 3 months later. Oh well , on the way to boycotting 19.....

This is a fix for defenders reacting as soon as you press the pass button they would react even before the windup and release. That's my take anyway.
