I actually don't agree with that. I do think the shadows a few posts back IS their intention but I don't think 1pm games look how they should look, as said, they seem gloomy to a certain degree and/or I've heard it described as looking like an eclipse. I do think this will be addressed (hope)

I agree with you to extent. I guess its how people view brightness. In the video game sense I think ppl think it should be the brightest bright (like perfect, intense & vivid) or like it has been in past maddens. Which in the real world there are levels of brightness on a clear day. I think Madden is going for a more organic look. And by some ppls screenshots its not working so well.

The darkness of the shadows in the first picture is ridiculous. No real-life game in the Colts stadium has shadows that dark. If it was ever that dark, the stadium lights would be on. I assume the lights are on in that stadium for every game regardless since it isn't a fully open-air stadium.

Pretty much what I've been saying the whole time. Its not working to what people are used to. They should've refined it better but time of day doesn't matter when the lighting is working independently.

I dont think thats how they should look but I believe EA wanted a more dynamic lighting system which causes this. It was their intention to use this system.

It's not that it isn't working to what we are used to. It's that their lighting system is seriously flawed and needs to be fixed so that we can actually see the players during the game.

The problem here is that you and a few others keep telling us that this issue is a preference thing or a tv settings thing and that's just not true. It's an issue with the game that needs to be addressed so that we can play it, not a matter of us adjusting our preferences. I need to be able to see the players on my team and the other team if I'm going to play and that has nothing to do with my preferences.

I'm sorry but where did I say it was a preference or TV setting issue? All I've been saying is that this direction EA took with the lightning is intentional.

Agree 100%. Im enjoying the lighting system personally and if they make it a tad brighter that would be even better.
