Dude I've been a Cowboys fan since 1978 and I can tell you that some home games it's dark as hell. And it's not rare, it's pretty common for some games to be like that in various facets throughout the game. Are you saying the camera operators for Cowboys games are not doing their job?

Cuz sorry but I have to seriously disagree with that statement.

But I know what you mean overall, in a game we do need some way to see better because we're not just watching, we're controlling..but still.

Also...in "real" real life our eyes have the ability to see both bright and dark at the same time that cameras cannot. So if you were at the actual stadium you would be able to see into the shadows much better than a camera or a video game. They just need to dial it back on Madden a bit and everything will be okay....and fix the glitch that seems to occassionally wash out 1pm games as well, if these are indeed 2 separate issues.
Keep in mind that these screenshots we are all posting are only SDR. In HDR, the game looks even better, since HDR allows for a higher level of exposure. Unless you are experiencing the bug that some people are.

Yeah the game looks amazing on my television, I wish you guys could see it here in person how I see it.

Re: Lighting Patch?

Just to sum everything up for anyone that doesn't want to read the first 90 pages...

There are some people that are having major lighting issues, mainly at 1pm, where multiple things are happening. Either the field is insanely dark and they can't see players or anything because of shadows, the lighting is differing every play and one second it will look like it's sunny and the next it will look like it's a thunderstorm and the next it will look like it's midnight and then next it will look like it's 6pm, others are having the stadium lights randomly turn on during clear 1pm games, and others are having the sun angle majorly change from what it looks like at kickoff to the very next play where the game apparently thinks 6 hours have passed in 6 seconds.

Clint, one of the madden devs, thinks the issue is related to skipping the tunnel sequence... so he admits there is a problem but doesn't seem to be listening to what everyone is experiencing.

Then you have the group of guys that have come into this forum for the sole purpose of talking about how great their game looks on their tv while condemning anyone that is experiencing issues and dismissing their experiences because they just can't adjust to the new direction that Madden has taken. These super cool guys believe it is their responsibility to tell everyone else what they are experiencing as they ignore all the screenshots that are being posted and dismiss them as not being representative of the actual game for whatever reason they come up with at the time.

And there you have 90 pages of bug reporting, bug solving (apparently... sort of), and many men on high horses explaining to the lowly Madden players that if they could just adapt then they wouldn't have the bug that they are experiencing.....

Excellent constructive post my man..I agree and truly don't get the group of posters (who obviously don't have or choose to ignore the problem) who have to constantly tell us how great the game looks and belittle those that have the lighting problem..we get it!! but I think overall this thread has turned into a group of positive posters simply trying to solve the problem in a constructive manner..which is a good thing..I hope EA gets to the bottom of it and looks at the evidence presented in this thread. Again man this isn't the only thread the group of posters have to constantly chime in it's almost every thread ..but you realize who the posters are and just pass them by..

Re: Lighting Patch?

So let me get this straight. This thread is for only the people that are having issues? Maybe a mod should change the title of the thread then. Ill be over here next to my high horse.

What is the point of posting in here if you don't have any issues?

To show that not eveyone is having issues. And its a forum. Are we not allowed? Isnt that the whole point of a forum? The title of the thread is "Lighting Patch question mark".
