Madden 17: OOTB, with No Patches is STILL the best Madden game ever made.

17 is good but I prefer the final patched version of 18, mainly due to Frostbite.

17 was good enough that I bought the disc version in November, after getting the digital version on release day, so I could play the patchless version of the game. My only huge complaint with 18 is that I wish human man-to-man was tighter on All-Madden. 18 was a mess until the final patch fixed many of the CPU QB issues but it ended up being a really enjoyable game.

At the moment, I prefer a patchless '17 and the final patched version of '18 to '19 by a wide margin.

Totally agree.
In fact I have played '18 the last two nights but an updated roster, over 19.
I cant explain it, but '19 just doesn't feel like football to me.

Do you know what slider set you used/use for '18?
Pretty sure I am done with '19 and am now looking for a slider set for '18.

I use my own; I can't remember whose they were based on so I should probably give credit once I remember. I can PM you tonight or tomorrow with the details.

I'm in Year 4 of my Jets CFM. I lost 35-13 at the Rams last night, then beat the Bills at home 31-27 on a TD in the waning seconds. One of the better games I've had recently.

OOTB Madden 17 was my favorite of all time hands down. I thought 18 was not good enough to keep playing, as I stopped before the final patch.

I'm having a blast and loving 19 so far, so we will see where this game ends up on my list.

Madden 12 is the best Madden ever made because it was the DEEPEST Madden ever made.

They are concentrating on this MUT and this Devin Wade crap instead of concentrating on the actual game.

I am in the minority, but I prefer M18 to 17. And just about anything over 19 -- I plan to take a step back and get Maximum Football and Axis Football to play that instead.
