This is a good feature. But they have to get the balancing right. I’m sure some things will take user feedback for tuning.

Ha, yeah. I'm most afraid of the QB abilities more than anything. "deadly pump-fakes", I'm not sure how deadly they are going to make them. Do we necessarily even need "deadly" pump fakes? It just sounds OP and glitchy. There's so many core mechanics in the game that need to be resolved in order for some of this to work without being OP imho.

The key with features like these for EA has always been, will it be implemented in a way that works well with generated players years into a franchise?

All this means is animations will have even more of an impact on the on-field play. That's a bad thing. We have to collectively realize that these features are cosmetic only. Madden's physics system and gameplay engine are not built for anything other than animation determined play. Current Madden is closer to Mortal Kombat than it is to Battlefield in terms of gameplay. You press a button, you get an animation that will control both you and the players around you. That's it. No amount of traits and abilities will be able to correct the issue of "animations > physics".
