EA Targeting Madden NFL 21 Title Update #3 To Arrive on September 10 - Here Are The Details

Notes released this far ahead of the patch... Likely to be a PR move to help suppress the negative publicity swirling around right now. Better to make these promise changes and get them into the public spotlight now, than risk further alienating some Madden players by remaining silent.

Was hoping to see more franchise fixes. Autosubs not working, fatigue is a non factor, upgrade players screen bugs out, cut player screen bugs out, game still stutters and skips in CFM. All of those issues. But looks like some solid gameplay changes though. Would like to have seen zone coverage be tightened up too.

All the things listed sound great and it's a nice start. I would love it if we could just move forward and appreciate the fixes we do get but I have a feeling these patch threads are going to be filled more with what isn't in the patches instead.

Because there's still a ton of bugs in the game... Especially franchise bugs.

With all of the negative Twitter posts and negative coverage on sites like Foxnews and USA Today, maybe the NFL lit a fire under EA to clean up this mess or else 2K would be given a shot.* In my opinion, EA should stick to creating the game modes they clearly want to focus on like MUT and The Yard and allow 2K to make the simulation football game we all crave!

Sure, but adding basic features that would typically be the staple of any sports title or team oriented game, that isn't made by EA, such as being able to look at your previous years Franchise or Player stats, isn't exactly promising the moon. Particularly when you have nearly 12 months to do it.

Or perhaps it is for EA Tiburon.
