I figured out the problem. I was actually closing the editor after initially importing it, instead of keeping it open. I didn't come to the realization of my error until I found your tutorial video in discord. It's working fine now. Thanks again for your help!

Can you use the same tool with multiple franchises going on? Or is a separate tool required per franchise? Just curious as in the instructions it says to save the tool after running the progression macro

You need a separate copy of the tool for each franchise. What I do is every time I start a franchise I create a folder (ie 49ers CFM) and put a copy of the progression tool in it. Then you are good to go for the franchise.

Great tool, looks good! I have a question: I like to play as a player in CFM; would this tool work even when I only control one player? Is there a point in using it if I do so, or is it better to use it when I'm playing as coach/owner?

It would work just the same since you're still outputting/inputting data from/to the franchise file.

In year two I keep trying to apply the 1st progression but every time I try to excel says


"franchise.xlsx is already open. Reopening will cause any changes you made to be disregarded. Do you want to reopen franchise.xlsx?"


And then when I do I get a


"Microsoft Visual Basic


Run-time error '1004':


PasteSpecial method of Range class failed"


It gives me 4 options


a grayed out continue I can't select


END

DEBUG

HELP


Doesn't look like any skill points apply when I choose End so I'm just wondering if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong. I've read the readme a hundred times and know every word of the video tutorial by heart at this point. Any help would be awesome thank you.
