I'm a fan of Riz, so I'll be trying these out eitherway

Re: Tackle Slider is the key to all defensive reactions

I played versus the Vikings with this set, and for the first time--the first time--I saw Adrian Peterson "bounce" away from contact. It often took more than one defender to bring him down, instead of one guy just blowing him up with a single forearm. Peterson averaged 4.8 yards per carry in the game, which is spot on. The only thing that concerned me was McNabb had a very low completion percentage--40%.

Re: Tackle Slider is the key to all defensive reactions

Got a game in with these today. Really enjoyed it. I felt like for the first time the ratings came to light. I took Philly into Atlanta, and boy did that Falcon offense look good. Lost 35-17. Vick went down early in the 3rd and the offense really faltered with Young in. The field really shrunk for me which threw my gameplan out the window.

Only thing that stuck out to me in a negative way was the User pass rush. I don't think Ryan touched the ground except on one Brandon Graham sack. I edited the DE's before the game to try to get more of a pass rush from elite guys... No luck for Trent Cole and Jason Babin, but the CPU really was a weapon from the DE spot. Newly tweaked John Abraham and Ray Edwards were phenomenal. Really kept me in the pocket, and caused havoc all day. I would just love to see that from my guys too.

All in all, these definitely have peaked my interest. Loved the feel of the players. Studs really shine.

This is promising. I wonder if the effect is the same with NCAA?

I have similar settings in NCAA except I have the Speed Threshold set to 0. I have had the Tackle slider set to either 5 or 10 in NCAA. The higher the slider in both games, the more ridiculous the hits become. The animations look worse too. More importantly, with the lower setting the it looks and plays more realistic.

@lhsballa11.....Raise the USER Pass Rush slider a little bit at a time to where you think it's right. It'll work.

i had the same problem i thought the best thing was too put the pass rush at 45 and my stars get through and the crummy guys get owned soo try that out

Toning down the hits is great, but I am really excited that it might slow down the pyschic DB's, and I might actually have the courage to throw and out or stop route to my outside recievers.
