what do you think got people hooked on madden in the first place?
it sure wasnt online because it didnt exist yet
now i like to play online but i perfer franchise theres alot of people like that just like theres alot of people who perfer online all this thread is about is getting some info on a mode that is the backbone of the madden franchise

Franchise has always had the basic needs to be successful, any improvements would be nice but what is there is standard. Any game will have online cheaters, and that's why you play people you know don't cheat. Even if franchise was the same, it's but great but acceptable the way it is.

it had the basic needs on ps2 and original xbox
it was pretty much a bare version the last 3 years on next gen
to you its acceptable cause its not your thing just like online was acceptable to me because i didnt play it much but to the people who did there was some glaring problems that needed to be fixed well from what we hear alot of those have been address actually if you wanna know how important a good franchise mode is ask anyone who has APF 2k8 i have it and yes its a good game and i play online sometimes but if since it has no franchise mode it doesnt have much replay value for me and has turned alot of people off of it.
