3 Pros & 3 Cons of Madden 2009

Good:
Graphical improvements
BackTrack & Rewind
Good animations

Bad:
No CPU sliders
DB's who jump 15 feet in the air to snap balls when they aren't even looking.
Superstar mode is same as last 2 years.

Pros: Overall graphics overhaul
More animations
Better presentation(commentary and interface)

Cons: Branching of new animations still not that smooth. lacks fluidity and has frame rate drops because if the camera flashes(annoying)
Sideline interaction...there IS none?
Dynamic lighting...there is NONE?

online plays just like offline (not sarcasm, i think online runs great!)
improved graphics, animations, presentation, fluidity of the player movement
passing game is flat out fun!

CPU Run game needs improved

PROS
- Very low number of glitches or annoying issues.
- User offense, both running and passing.
- Graphics and animations.

CONS
- CPU running game (they need to run more often)
- Zone defenses aren't as bad as NCAA09 but the AI def needs an upgrade when defenders are in a zone.

Good thread idea!

Positives - 1) graphics are excellent
2) running game seems very realistic on user side
3) new play call screen is a definate improvement


Negatives - 1) lack of online franchise mode sucks
2) While Collinsworth is good. Hammonds is awful.
3) CPU snaps ball too quick.
4) QB AI needs tweaking

If I was in charge of choosing the focus for 2010, I'd say addressing these would be key:

1) online franchise mode
2) OL and DL interaction
3) QB user play and CPU AI. Still hard to tell difference between Brady and a strong armed guy like Russell. There really should be a difference.

PROS:
1. Graphics and overall presentation MINUS Hammond
2. Animations from player footwork, branching tackles, the deep pass ... just really smooth and makes every play feel kind of special ... shows they put a ton of work into this.
3.

Cons:
1. Offensive Playbook is uninspiring and seems almost the same as NCAA09 and every other year.
2. Hammonds can put me to sleep.
3. Robo QB.
...4 ... echoing the CPU snaps ball wayyy too fast sentiment.
