Will EA ever fix Injured Reserve?

Just asking since I lost my #1 and #2 HBs for the year in week ten. Now, to pick up a guy from the free agent list, I will have to cut someone to make room. This has been an issue since last gen Madden. It's a little frustrating since most people complain that they DIDN'T import stuff from last gen. I guess I wish they left out this one problem they DID import.

Anyway, any word on this being fixed in 2010?

I agree,it's absolutely ridiculous that when a player goes on IR,it doesn't free up a roster spot.......

Agreed.....a seemingly small glitch with large adverse ramifications for a franchise.

Tell me about it, I lost Gore to a career ending injury in week 5 and now I have to cut someone or else Im stuck with Deshaun Foster and Michael Robinson as my only backs for the remainder of the season.

IMO....there's no excuse for this to happen. Also (again,imo) this makes franchise damn near unplayable.
I'm sure as hell not going to cut a player just to make room for a guy that should be able to be on IR.

It's alot of "small" missing features,that when added up,have made this game not as fun for me anymore.

I mean seriously.....how could they (EA) overlook this??

IMO...once again.....this is an easily solved problem. Total roster control for users.

How would that solve it if there is still a cap on the amount of players you can carry and it never reflects a player on the IR? All this does is allow me to mess with other teams rosters as I see fit, it doesnt solve our problem if they dont ever get around to recognizing that a player on the IR doesnt count as a roster spot.

Exactly. Having control over other teams rosters won't correct this problem.
The game simply does not recognize that once a player is put on IR,a roster spot SHOULD be opened up to sign another player.
