This reminds me of a story a few years ago.
I'm a small city newspaper editor. Newspapers tend to get a lot of grief from their communities. Nature of the job, not much we can do about it.

One day I'm in a bar downing a cold one (you know how I roll, Ian) and some doofus approaches me to criticize the paper.
I ask "What do you do for a living?"
He replies "I'm a chef."
I ask "How would you feel if I approached you in a bar while on your time off and told you your food sucked?"
He laughed and said he hadn't thought of it.

Glad Ian's taking a firmer stance against the "db"s who aren't adding anything to the discussion. I mean I applaud him for keeping a level head for so long but I know if I was in his position I would have hunted down some of these people lol.

I only wish the mods would help him out here and restore some order. Noone's expecting everyone to be positive but if you're going to criticize the game do it in a way to help the game out. If you take it personal like this guy with the small mind comment you should be gone immediately...no "warning". I think too much is allowed to pass. Criticize the game all you want (constructively if possible) but DON'T bring Ian or other developers into it in a personal way.
