Shotgun Formation in Madden 10.

Well I guess your ignorent for your comments of blitz football and madden in the same sentence. Listen the point I wanted to make is that what your pointing isnt really important in the whole realm of things, I just think your being very nitpicky. I mean damn this game has come along way and your going to complain about the line up of the shotgun formation with the qb/rb, come on man.

Madden 09 played exactly like you'd expect an old school Blitz game to play. Extremely fast, unrealistic, and 90% of the tackles were big hits. I feel sorry for any WR that attempts to jump for the ball, because I know he's going to get destroyed.

As for the formation, I'm only being nitpicky because it was fine in Madden 09. And it just doesn't seem accurate within the grand scheme of things. Not EVERY offense is going to run the same Shotgun formation.

It's mainly in regards to two things:

1. It is inaccurate in comparison to REAL NFL football. This is an NFL-Simulation game.
2. EA still hasn't been able to get realistic playbooks into Madden. I'm assuming this is going to be one of the areas they really dig into for Madden '11.

I'm aware it's a game. Madden is meant to be a realistic representation of the real sport. It's not that I'm taking it too seriously. It's that I want it to look and feel like the sport I'm most fond of.

Would you think it's stupid if when the ball was being punted, the punter took the snap from 5 yards behind the long snapper? I'm sure you'd think to yourself "that doesn't look right at all."

It may not be big, but it's something noticeable to the majority of people. See what I'm saying?
