How Can We Use OS To Create Football Havens For Online Play In M13?

running a ton of leagues myself and playing in a ton of leagues - one of the hardest things to manage are the rules of the league.

everyone that comes along has there own stance and opinion on what should be allowed and not allowed.

this usually results int he failure of the league. leagues are sooooo hard and take a ton of commitment.

i think if u get a good foundation of guys that the OS league could really take off and it would create a great environment for peeps to play

Appreciate the input and I am not talking about running leagues with this idea. Again, I am hoping to use OS the way EA uses "EA" to have an online ranked of sorts for OSers and other gamers that want to play football with a general respect for their opponent. Online is referred to as the "wild west" so I am trying to figure out a way to create a football haven away from that.

"BigFNDeal" endorsing an online community carries zero weight with anybody online and I am OK with that. lol. However Operation Sports on the other hand has reputation that proceeds itself and would give some people the assurance that the game play will be far more respectable.

Also, I think the slider sets and OS enforcement against general online douchebagery, to steal someone's term, would help gamers enjoy themselves, imo. Like stated, I see this as an opportunity for more gamers to get online in a football environment to interact with others and maybe end up in leagues with others they might have otherwise never known anything about.

Seriously though, they had an OS online community for M12 so maybe more interest will gin up after M13 drops.

There will be an OS community in '13 of that I have no doubt. The problem(s) will be once online CCMs start people vanish. Also Community's in Madden 12 had a crippling flaw. No lobbies. It was a huge pain in the *** to find a game within the community but I could find one in a regular lobby no sweat.

What would be cool is a "Feedback/Scouting" aspect built into Madden.
Something that kept totals for each user in things like:
% of plays used in playbook
# times Gone for it on 4th Down
Pass to Run Ratio
etc..
Then you could look at individual players online auto feedback and see how they play.
Not perfect but it's something.

Anything user based as far as feedback would lead to disgruntled players making stuff up about who beat them. Not all would do that but some would.

Well I have bashed online ranked games forever as a direct result from my experiences.

I recently joined an OS league and through my first few games it has been very fun.

Today I was bored and decided to play a ranked game. My opponent did the following:

1. No huddle all game
2. Never punted
3. Onside kick every time
4. Dropped 11 into coverage
5. Took every HB dive to the sideline
6. Called 4-wide slants every play
7. Bumped my WRs on passes (no PI was called)
8. Sprinted to the sideline with Sam Bradford

The problem is he exploited the game in areas he knew would work. If I could control all 11 it wouldn't be a problem, but obviously I can't.

The experience went exactly as I expected

Yeah I remember the issue with no lobbies but the M12 OS community also didn't have any slider set, so I am hoping with the improvements to M13 and some agreed on solider sets it will endure this year. Also with CC I am hoping more solid gamers are willing to test online this year at least in the OS online community.
