I definitely understand this and is the reason I am advocating for an OS online haven away from this stuff. Through the many posters on here, there seem to be many gamers that really enjoy just playing football but they play offline due to this stuff.

I don't think I am some special case because playing like that would never cross my mind so I know there are other gamers out there like that. We all just need a "watering hole" to gather around and I hope M13 OS online communities can be that spot.

Unless I hear otherwise, sliders in Madden have no effect on user vs user games. That has been EA's status quo for a while now.

I don't see how that can be entirely true though, in the sense that certain sliders would seem to have to effect User v User games. Like fatigue, injury, catches, speed threshhold and game speed. I am sure there are a few others but I am very interested to see how some of these effect the football environment in User v User games in Madden 13.

Okay, yes those sliders to have an effect. I was speaking about gameplay sliders. QB Accuracy, Pass Block those slider don't do anything in User v User games.

Wait though, how is that possible? I mean I have not personally dealt with sliders much but how can say the QB accuracy slider, not effect QB accuracy in a User v User game? Is there a separate QB accuracy slider for HUM and CPU? If so, then wouldn't the HUM slider effect both Users?

Yeah, I don't know all the details, but I can tell you sliders do not work user v user in any EA football game, and haven't for a long time.

Fair warning, I'm the Raiders in OS Vets and this is my plan:
  1. I no huddle half the game and make 30 audibles at the line -- learn how to stop it son!
  2. Punting is for punks.
  3. Onside kick every time -- the other team can't win if they can't get the ball.
  4. Heck yeah I drop 11 in coverage -- all I need is my DT to rush.
  5. Coach told me to get to the outside -- he never specified when.
  6. 4 wide slants? Only until you sit on them, then its 4 verticals.
  7. If the ref doesn't call it, it didn't happen!
  8. I don't have Bradford but I have Dozier -- he's a 48 speed terror.
Did I forget to mention I'm sim? LOL
