Honestly, I say let Proctor pitch the 9th as well. Save Mo as much as you can.

However, if he were to give up a hit/walk...then bring in Mo.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Game over, finally, Yankees sweep the doubleheader.

Great job offense. Tough game to watch, but a win is a win. This was the game this series Boston should have won, and they didn't get it done. Now, worst case scenario we still come out of this series in first place, and you got to think we'll be able to take at least 1 of the last 3, if not 2.

Hopefully Ponson is released tonight or tomorrow morning and we can get another pitcher up here.

Damn me, and my frustration. With the way things were going at the time, I seriously thought our pitching would've finished worse than theres.

Glad I was wrong.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

WOW I can't believe we won a game Ponson pitched. No thanks to Ponson of course. I think he's gone tonight as Small can pitch just as badly as a long man/ spot starter if needed and we need pitchers for the rest of the series.

Now that we swept the double header it changes everything. We have to go for the jugular 4 or a sweep.

If Beckett doesn't show up tomorrow, you probably won't have to worry about us for the rest of the season fellas.

Long way to go still. I wouldn't say Boston's season is over just yet, but what a huge sweep for us!
