Bah, missed out on Opening Day tickets.

But luckily I should be there for Andrew Cashner's first start(Or it could be Dempster's second start)

I ain't going to Wrigley in April. I have gone to about 4 season openers, and have learned my lesson. I have tickets for April 9th, in Milwaukee, under the roof!(72 degrees bitches)

Hoping I'll get to Wrigley for a game this year. It's being looked into and is high possibility.

I did manage some second level first row seats behind home plate in Wrigley Field North (Miller Park) for the first game Friday night next week. Can't wait.

Err.. Neil Walker I hate that guy.. He's continuing to cream Cub pitching. Also I think Quade left Dempster in a little too long today. I don't understand why the Cubs can't beat the Pirates.

Re: Your 2011 Chicago Cubs

I'm going to go with "because the Cubs are not a very good team."

Sure, Dempster has been more than expected and then some over the past 4 seasons...but it is not a good sign that he is the #1 starter. I mean, it says a lot.

Cubs are 1-1.

If Castro continues his streak on offense and defense the cubs will contend.

Re: Your 2011 Chicago Cubs

Seriously, yougo? While I wish it were true, how can you believe that? I would like to hear why you think a 20 yr old SS (who is admittedly a doubles machine, and potentially a gold-glove fielder) is going to somehow make up for the lack of power, consistent hitting, and top-shelf pitching?

I want the Cubs to win, don't get me wrong...and there is an outside shot that they could "contend"...but, that just sounds silly.

The Cards have had set-backs, but still have strong chance in the division, and a much better lineup. The Brewers seem very serious about running at the division, and Cincy sure looked good last year. And that is just in the NLC.
