Another series win, and always feels nice when it's against the Cubbies and their (mostly) dumb fans that come to Coors. I dunno if anyone caught it on Saturday's broadcast, but there was a shot of a cub fan throwing a shoulder to some kid for a foul ball. Real class.....

Sent down Stewart to AAA. He'll probably get consistent ABs there to find his swing. Hopefully he does great down there and get called up and contribute.

He needs it, let's hope it helps.

Looks like Rockies going with an extra pitcher for the remainder of the series, with Stewart sent down to make way for Ubaldo to come off the DH. I'd guess that Tavaras would get the nod for a call up, especially with Seth Smith having that slight hamstring injury.

Also, no Johnny Sparkplug tonight. Kid needs a rest I guess.

Tough game today. Battle back only to give up the late home run...ouch!

But...good to see Ubaldo's back up in the upper 90's. Hopefully he's getting his confidence back. When he's got it, and knows it, he's the best pitcher out there.
