I will completely agree on both these counts. Fowler bats leadoff for one reason, his speed. But he's inept at stealing bases now it seems. It does no good to have a guy striking out like he is batting leadoff.

I'm not sure about Taveras, injury wise. Last I heard he had some sort of injury keeping him out. If that's no longer the case, then he needs to get a callup. Fowler striking out is getting to be a joke. Charlie Blackmon is tearing it up too I hear, so maybe he needs to get a chance also.

Something needs to change...it's not just 3B like they keep talking about on the broadcasts...it's pretty much everything. The rant you posted a few days ago AV7 pretty much sums up how I feel right now as well. This team stinks and the manager needs to start kicking some butt. Clint Hurdle got fired because he became too much of a "player's manager" and I sure as hell hope Tracey isn't growing into the same.

Franklin Morales should've been traded years ago. His whole pitching mechanics were always out of whack.

Paulino needs to go, bring Reynolds back. Move Mortensen to bullpen. Problem solved.
