Ya I just finished game 11 in the sample I'm doing.
So far my walks per team per game are 2.96
Real league average is 3.25.
So just under but again only 11 game sample so far... but all the stats seem to be inline with real league averages. But what I am really enjoying is the running catches in the outfield sometimes with great dives. Leaps at the wall. Bloopers just over the shortstops head and just shy of the outfielders reach. Tons of real world stuff going on here.
Thanks for the slider start brother.
Cool, it's kind of nice to see how my sliders perform in CPU vs CPU games and with detailed recording of stats. I mainly go off "feel" and I don't look at stats until I feel something is off, and then I use the stats to confirm things. I'm liking that the walks are solid in CPU vs CPU games. Are the wild pitches in check as I'm pretty much the only one with the control at 7 and consistency at 8? Because I feel lowering consistency to get more balls will never be able to keep wild pitches in check. I'm surprised not more people have fielder run speed at 0 as I've yet to see a ball hit where I thought to myself "that should've been caught." I raised fielder reaction to 2 mainly for my players as I feel the CPU third baseman is better than a human controlled one for some reason. I'm a bit surprised the hitting sliders would work as well as in my games as I feel analog pitching allows for greater pitch control than a CPU pitcher, so I increased the CPU's timing for that purpose.

Re: CPU vs CPU

Okay it's still early but it appears that the BR steal ability slider works contrary to intuition this year (again). I'm testing the slider at 10, and I'm seeing significantly more CS so far (23/37 success rate = 62%, way down from default). It's only 20 games, so I won't bet my saving account on it, but I'm willing to bet the entire Mets organization on it.

Just letting you know if you haven't been testing that particular slider.

That's good to know as I lowered mine to 3 in hope of more caught stealing. Now, I'll raise my setting to 7 or 8. Moving the slider even to maximum or minimum doesn't have a noticeable effect, which is the problem, you literally have to record stats to see the differences like you did. I remember last year, someone posted the slider was reversed and I was able to test it myself and confirm it only a few minutes of testing. The difference between 0 and 10 should be big enough to where you can see the difference just by watching a handful of steal attempts.

Re: CPU vs CPU

Anyone noticed any difference since the release of patch 1.10?

No major gameplay changes were in the fix list but, and it might just be me, but I seem to be seeing less wild pitches.

Like I say could just be me, but anyone noticed any differences?

Unfortunately no. I have ten games tested since the patch and I've had 18 WP with a 5 for PITCH CON. I'm hoping this gets a patch as this is the only stat I struggle to correct to normal.

Interesting! I have my BASE STEAL ABILITY at default and in the ten games I've tested since the patch there have been 20 steals and 2 CS. Keep me posted on your findings.

Re: CPU vs CPU

Are u guys playing cpu v cpu exhibition or MOM mode? My only thing w/exhibition is that it forces me to watch the broadcast fielding angle and nI would rather watch med or high. I find myself having to watch mom to do that.

Also what kind of scores are u guys getting? Are they varied or are games pretty close in score?

I haven't noticed any. WP number is as high as ever.
