I wasn't arguing I didn't think they had the licenses but this is the place where I get my news. So I was thinking maybe I missed something. That's all.

I wouldn't "seriously" doubt anything... new tagging animations and route-running can only take you so far. MLB's popularity as a sport is moving in the opposite direction of the NFL, yet Madden had no problem instituting a relocation/owner mode. Out of the four friends I know who personally have bought/played The Show series consistently over the past 5 or years, I know three of them not including myself who have mentioned they won't be purchasing this game due to a lack of owner mode, for lack of a better term.

MVP baseball was licensed by the MLB and had this mode 10 years ago. What changed their minds?

I don't know, I just think there's a natural progression here that is way overdue and it might not have to be exactly like how the original poster illustrated it but some semblance of an owner mode is necessary. Just like how in the early 90s no one cared there wasn't a Season or Playoff mode, people were just amped there were baseball video games, period. Well now we come to have a certain expectation and the improvement of friggin shadows is not enough.

I would like to be able to adjust ticket prices and all that again like we were able to do before.
