Re: Commentary repetition

I'm not saying that I don't hear the ambush line, but I can't even once recall that line or what it sounds like. I'm not familiar with it. Can anyone provide a little bit more context regarding it?

It's during the lineup introductions, usually when you or the other team is starting an ace. It plays EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I face Sale or pitch Archer.

That, and if you get a hit off of the first pitch. DeRosa goes on and on about “ambush tactics”.

Re: Commentary repetition

The funny thing is how on every twitch stream before release all I heard was how great commentary was. It’s more repetitive this year than ever

Re: Commentary repetition

MLBN commentary is on and prominent and Theme 1 I have it at 50% volume. Theme 2 it is off and all you hear is the crowd, stadium sounds, umps, vendors etc.

Nice variety that way.

But yeah....it is quite repetitive here early on in my franchise (29 games in) but I am hearing dynamic storylines and such and the deeper I go in the season I am sure more and more new lines will unlock. So that is a huge positive.

I can’t truly judge it till I complete year 2 in my 2017 carry over Yankees Franchise. I am playing every pitch. Then I can give it an objective review.

Re: Commentary repetition

Something I’m tired of is listening to them talk about the Judge’s Chambers every. Single. Game. at Yankee Stadium. They don’t say the exact same thing about it every game but it’s pretty close. It’s cool the first few times or if you are playing with another team on the road against the Yankees but as a Yankees user it’s so repetitive.

Not sure why SDS thought it was a good idea to have the commentators discuss it every game at Yankee Stadium. The use of those few lines should have been toned down. After so many games at Yankee Stadium hearing about it every single game no one wants to keep hearing anymore. I guess the bright side is it only happens once a game?

The Twitch streams are the biggest source of BS and hot air around. Just a way to verbally stroke their own egos around what's become a stale joke.
