My friend button mashes with Chuck Lidell, and I can't do anything and he wins by knockout most of the time like that. He just throws punches and kicks non stop and I can't throw anything back or counter grapple/block.

If they are using the special moves then you just wait it out until they are gassed but if they throw in clinchs and do it your done.

You are going to have shoot at them. The button mashers will not be able to stop the take down if they are trying to throw punches/kicks. I don't have the game, but I would think you could keep your distant and shoot them as they will have to come towards you to hit or get you in clinch.

leg kicks have ruined this game nothing you can do except take them over and over.

Ok...When you get kicked in the leg you just stand their frozen until the next one then repeat, I just fought this guy 3 times I lost all 3 dropping my record to 84-14 he won by leg kicking me to death every fight I couldn't get close to him they just freeze you in your tracks.

But you will have to see for yourselves I have been playing this non stop clinches and leg kicks are ridiculous.

Single-collar tie, muay thai clinch, knees, quick strikes, and now leg kicks have all been deemed as game-breaking by you. Is it possible that maybe the issue lies more with you than it does with the game? I mean, no offense, but is it possible that maybe you're just not as good as you think you are?

Or you could, you know, block low so that you check it.

Or you could, press your right stick downwards and catch them.

Earlier in the thread I seen you said how you can't get out of the MT clinch, which is pretty easy to do. Sounds like you just don't know how to play the game and are blaming the game. Tutorial FTW.
